This front line beach complex has all the facilities including an outdoor pool with generous seating and outdoor showers around the pool. There are a number of children's play areas nearby incluing one directly on the glorious sandy beach. Locally there are tennis & basketball courts, horse riding, go-karting & watersports. The apartment is situated in an ideal location for the beach and local supermarket/restaurants/bars are just a minute's walk away. The famous La Manga Golf Club is just a 10 minute drive with other golf courses within easy reach.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Offering the hottest weather in Spain, the ‘warm coast’ lives up to its name. The summer lasts from Easter to November, making a great place for an off-season getaway. The lagoon of Mar Menor offers warm shallow waters, ideal swimming conditions for children. The coast is a must for sports fanatics, with the huge Club La Manga offering three golf courses amongst other facilities. The Calblanque Nature Reserve is a short distance away along with the famous La Manga Strip hosting glorious beaches on both sides, the Mar Menor and Mediterranean. The beautiful city of Torrevieja is approx 30 mins drive away where you can visit the Port, have lunch in one of the many restaurants overlooking the sea shore or shop in the newly build centre offering up to the moment designer wear.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area
Playa Honda is a small village situated on the Mar Menor its clean beach and shallow water makes the idea destination for a family holiday. There is a beach bar and small children's play area on the beach a few minutes walk away and a very large children's park and play area within a 5 min walk. Playa Honda has a well stocked local shop and pharmacy and 4/5 bar/restaurants offering English, Mediterranean and Spanish cruisine. There is a small sailing club where ski lessons and the hire of small boats are available. The neighbouring village of Los Belonos is typically spanish the tapas at the bar in the central square is reccomended and in the evening there are some exquisite restaurants. The fishing port of Cabo de Palos (with an abundance of restaurants overlooking the harbour and promenade) is less than 5 minutes drive away. Cabo de Palos hosts one of the largest markets in the area every sunday if you are looking for a bargain or why not just take a stroll around to soak up the atmosphere. The area is ideal for cycling or walking and Playa Honda has a beautiful tree lined promenade, for the more energetic watersports, horseriding and go-karting are within easy reach. There are numerous Golf courses in the area with the famous La Manga Championship course just a five minute drive.
The golf courses Mosa Trajectum at San Javier, Molina de Segura at Altoreal, Hacienda del Alamo at Fuente Alamo and Torre Pacheco are within 30 minutes, Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas all at Orithuela and the Finca at Algorfa are 45 minutes drive away.
The historic cities of Cartagena, (20 minutes ) drive and Murcia (50 minutes ) are easily accessible if a car is hired. Local transport will also take you to these locations.
How to get there
Verdemar 2 is located in Playa Honda approximately 20 minutes drive from San Javier Murcia Airport and less than one hour's drive from Alicante.
Murcia airport is served by most airlines, including all the low-cost carriers from the UK.

It is very tastefully furnished with sofa bed, three seater settee, comfy chair, coffee table, dining table and chairs, TV , DVD and Cabinet along with a wide choice of DVD's and CD's for your entertainment. Beds, bedding and towels are provided. The two double bedrooms (one twin and one double) both have fitted wardrobes. The kitchen is fully fitted with large free-standing fridge freezer, washing machine and a galleried utility area. All appliances are new. The spacious balcony overlooking the pool and seashore is furnished with loungers and dining for four people. This balcony leads to our private roof top solarium, unique to a penthouse property. Lounge and main bedroom air-conditioned for your comfort.
Further details outdoors: This secure gated complex can only be accessed via an electronic entry system. Private underground parking space with lift directly to apartment. The outdoor pool with spacious sunbathing area provides the opportunity of ultimate relaxation. Just a few steps to the beach and a dip in the Mar Menor. With Restaurants, bars and shops closeby this location is ideally situated. A short walk to the large park for the children and bus stops to all local areas.

Prices are based on 7 nights stay, however to take advantage of flight offers and availability the first day of your holiday rental is flexible. Daily rates and weekend breaks are available; please contact owner for further details Please note the following important details. Guests are required to send a refundable security deposit of £100 or equivalent euro's. The deposit will be refunded within two weeks of departure following inspection of the apartment allowing for any unreasonable loss damage to the property or furnishings. 25% deposit is required on booking with the full payment no later than 2 weeks before arrival.
