This is a lovely spacious two-bedroom apartment is located on the enchanting Mar menor, the largest lagoon in Europe.
Playa Honda is situated at the mouth of the La Manga strip, It has lovely sandy beaches twenty meters away. The waters are very pleasant and a safe enviroment for children. The Mar menor contains a variety of sea life including sea horses. Water sports are a regular feature within there own restricted areas.and for hiring the equipment is just 100 meters away. Bars and restaurants are scattered along the sandy beaches, There are other activites including horse riding, ice skating, Go karting and beautiful costal walks. Restaurants, bars and a supermarket are within a short walking distance.
A 5-minute taxi ride takes you to the lively nightlife of Spanish and international Bars and restaurants.
The picturesque fishing port of Cabo de Palos provides a wide range of Spanish cuisine. Dine in the fresh fish restaurants while looking over the Mediterranean Sea.
Five minutes drive from Playa Honda is the exclusive world acclaimed La Manga Golf club, which offers championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and a good selection of bars and restaurants. Also within a 45min drive are 20 more professional golf resorts.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Cartagena is beautiful with plenty of shopping and a wide variety of places to eat. A 30 minutes river trip around the port is not to be missed.The upper part of the esplanade is a pleasant anvenue which affords some excellent views of the surroundings. Ensure you visit the catherdral. The charming town is full of historic buildings all in there original form, making it a delightful place to walk around. The port is beautiful by day and wonderful to see at night ,enjoy the clubs or the fine restrauants.
Murcia region has many easy to reach coastal beaches a small distances from each other. This is real Spain with delightful people, wonderful food and good infrastructure to help you get around. It is undiscovered by many. Enjoy.

La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area

Costa Calida ("the warm Coast"), with beaches of fine sand. The salt- water Lagoon Mar Menor and La Manga offer great possibilites for water sports. The tranquail Mar menor provides calm warm waters a great area for families to swim and relax.The Inland is almost desertic, and you may visit several towns which still preserve their medieval structures. Typical cooking includes stews, salads, roasted meats, rice and of course great sea food. The area is also known for its high quality wines.
The Mar Menor which covers the whole eastern coastline, is a unique natural phenomenon, with an every surprising horizon. Average sunny days is 300 a year.

Airlines fly from most UK airports to Murcia or Alicantie.Flybe, Easyjet, GoJet. BMI Baby,GB airlines Monarch First Choice,are just a few. Once at the airport you can get a taxi or hire care from Avis, Eurocar,
The apartment is twenty minutes from Murcia airport travelling down the A7 motorway which is outside the airport towards Cartagena and then La Manga. Playa Honda is on the Mar Menor. just before La Manga.

The apartment is a new build with all modern aminities. There is an evlevator which takes you directly to the apartments front door making it accessibale for people with walking difficulties. It has two large spasicous bedrooms with single beds which can be put together to make doubles catering for both couples and single guests.There is a fully fitted kitchen and out house with washing machine. There are sea views from all windows.There is a large lounge dining area with air condtioning and English Tv. The spasious baclony has lovley views over the pool area and the Mar manor Lagoon.

Further details outdoors:
The Mar Manor Lagoon is well known for it's healing muds. You will see many of the spanish natives on the beaches along the La Manga strip which is 15 minutes drive away enjoying the mud baths. In Cabo de Palos you can enjoy deep sea fishing/diving excursions. Cartagena is the nearsest City about 20 minutes drive. Here you can discover some of Spains historical past and lovley seaside port.
In the surroding area of Playa Honda there are many golf courses. The most famous being La Manga club which is a 5 minute drive. There are in access of 20 golf courses all within a 45minute drive. Murcia is soon to be the Golfing capatol of spain.

I do have a rental company who service the apartment and are on hand if needed. All bookings are confirmed by myself and then handed to the Rental company who will contact you by email.
Smoking is allowed on the balcony only.
Children must be supervised on the balcony at all times
