Calblanque national park is situated opposite Playa Honda and plays host to 3 stunning beaches on the Mediterranean. The inland sea of the mar menor is only 300m from the apartment and is a very calm warm sea. Local amenities include restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarket and children’s playground. The beautiful, relaxing & scenic Cabo De Palos is only a few minutes away by taxi or local bus as is the La Manga strip and both offer a vast array of restaurants, bars and shops along the sea front. Bordering the Mar Menor, one will find a variety of water sports and the area also plays host to golf with the world famous La Manga club boasting 3 championship courses only minutes drive away and a further 15+ courses within an hours drive.
Other activities nearby include tennis, horse riding, go-karting, kite surfing and cycling. A relatively short drive away is the ancient port of Cartagena and a little further is the Regional Capital of Murcia.
