This air conditioned apartment is situated on the 7th floor. It is situated in the village of Playa Honda on the edge of the Mar Menor within walking distance of beach and bars. This apartment has one double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with fitted wardrobes; A double sofa bed in the lounge will sleep an extra 2 persons. There is a bath with shower. There is a well equipped fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, hob, oven, microwave and washing machine. There is a spacious lounge/diner which has English TV, DVD player, radio and C.D player. The outside balcony has table, chairs and sun umbrella.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
5 mins walk along the beach from Playa Honda are a couple of bars and restaurants, small supermarket and Farmacia. Los Bolones is a village about a 5 mins drive away where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. 20 min easy stroll to the la manga strip where there are plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc.
Golf Information:- La Manga Club is a first class course. There is also evening entertainment and a casino at the club. Further information is available on other local golf courses. Transfers to these golf courses are available and also pre booked times.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area
This Costa is a favourite of the Spanish with the beautiful Mar Menor (little sea) a saltwater lagoon divided from the Mediterranean by La Manga (the sleeve), Calblanque National Park and the historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia.
More bars and restaurants can be found at Playa Honda, a non commercialised Spanish village. This is a 5 minute walk where you will find a small supermarket, pharmacy and both Spanish and English restaurant/bars. These are open all year round with an ice cream parlour open during the summer months.
In the other direction is La Manga. La Manga has beautiful beaches both on the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean and is within a 5 minute car drive or 30 minute walk along the Mar Menor. There are numerous bars, restaurants, shops and marinas along its 18 kilometres. La Manga is very popular with the Spanish during the summer months. Thomas Maestre located at 13 kilometres is a new marina with many bars and restaurants and is well worth a visit. From Playa Paraiso there is also easy access to Cabo De Palos, Los Belones, La Manga club and Calblanque National Park. There are numerous golf courses throughout the area with fine walks and horse riding within Calblanque. Scuba diving is also available from La Manga and Cabo de Palos. There are many water sports centres and sailing schools in the area. La Manga Club with three golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools the Hyatt Regency and Casino is a 10 minute drive away.
The golf courses Mosa Trajectum at San Javier, Molina de Segura at Altoreal, Hacienda del Alamo at Fuente Alamo and Torre Pacheco are within 30 minutes, Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas all at Orithuela and the Finca at Algorfa are 45 minutes drive away. New courses at Polaris World should be open in 2007.
The fishing port of Cabo de Palos (with an abundance of restaurants overlooking the harbour and promenade) is less than 5 minutes drive away or a short taxi ride as is the small Spanish town of Los Belones which also has several excellent restaurants and bars.
The historic cities of Cartagena, (20 minutes ) drive and Murcia (50 minutes ) are easily accessible if a car is hired. Local transport will also take you to these locations.

Further details outdoors: Playa Honda has a small supermarket, and a few Bars restaurants and cafes within a 10min stroll from the apartment. Playa Honda beach and the inland sea makes this an ideal place for Children and is renown for its water sports, the sea can reach temperatures of 30 C in the height of summer.
Conditions
Bookings require a £100 deposit to secure the holiday more than 8 weeks prior to the start date. 8 weeks before departure the full amount is due and your £100 deposit then becomes your bond (please see the section headed security bond). If the start date is less than 8 weeks prior to departure then the full payment is required plus a £100 security bond.
