This 1st floor apartment is situated front line to the beach and Mediterranean sea. There is a communal swimming pool with access to the beach. This apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one shower room and one bathroom). There is a large double bedroom with fantastic views overlooking the Mediterranean with its full length widows so you can just lie there and take in the stunning views. There is a further bedroom with 2 single beds. There is a large well equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and a separate utility room from the kitchen which has a washing machine and sink. There is a large balcony complete with furniture for relaxing and sunbathing.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Situated 45 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport and 1½ hour drive from Alicante, this region favored by many Spanish offers a unique coastal feature called the Mar Menor. The blue lagoon sea with crystalline waters is ideal for swimming and water sports, and is just a 2 minute walk away from the apartment. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lake almost entirely sealed off from the Mediterranean by the peninsular of La Manga. The largest salt water lake in Europe it is only 7m at its deepest point and along its shores it has an average depth of only 0.5m making it extremely safe for children. This warm and tranquil lake also has other health giving benefits, a natural swimming pool with warm temperatures it also has a high saline content which is therapeutic for sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism and skin conditions when they coat themselves in the black mud which can be found at points along the shores. In contrast, if you get too warm in the Mar Menor you can simply pick up your towel and walk two hundred yards and find yourself on the beautiful white beaches of the Mediterranean with its cooling breezes.

The golf courses Mosa Trajectum at San Javier, Molina de Segura at Altoreal, Hacienda del Alamo at Fuente Alamo and Torre Pacheco are within 30 minutes, Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas all at Orithuela and the Finca at Algorfa are 45 minutes drive away. New courses at Polaris World should be open in 2007.
The fishing port of Cabo de Palos (with an abundance of restaurants overlooking the harbour and promenade) a 10 minute drive away. The small Spanish town of Los Belones which also has several excellent restaurants and bars is about a 15 minute.
The historic cities of Cartagena, (30 minutes ) drive and Murcia (one hour ) are easily accessible if a car is hired. Local transport will also take you to these locations.

Bookings require a £100 deposit to secure the holiday more than 8 weeks prior to the start date. 8 weeks before departure the full amount is due and your £100 deposit then becomes your bond (please see the section headed security bond). If the start date is less than 8 weeks prior to departure then the full payment is required plus a £100 security bond.
