Suitable for couples and families alike, whether you like the sunbathing, watersports, sightseeing or golf, the Mar Menor and its wonderful climate is the area for you.Our spacious first floor apartment has two good sized bedrooms. The bathroom services both bedrooms and offers a full size bath and shower. the lounge / diner has two sofas which seats five and a dining table and chairs. Additional seating is available on the balcony which leads off from the lounge. Also available are cable tv with a range of channels to suit all the family, dvd player and cd player.The guests have the use of a travel cot and high chair FREE of charge(new in 2007) The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer microwave. oven etc. A washing machine is also available to make holiday life a little easier! Guests are invited to use the facilities of two swimming pools, one adjacent to the apartment using a swipe card and the newly built pool at the beach front that also offers the benefit of a lifeguard in high season both these pools also have bar/restaurants.. In the flat for your use around the pool are sunloungers and patio chairs. The beach is only 3 minutes walk away via a pedestrianised walk way.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Costa Calida is reknowned for its 320 days of sunshine and the therapeutic benefits of mud bathing. There are plenty of places to see during your stay,below are a few well worth a visit:- Los Alcazares an old fishing town which has grown into a popular resort with a good shops, restaurants and great beaches is only 5km away. Dos Mares a brand new airconditioned indoor shopping delight with cinema, bars, restaurants and supermarket can found just outside Los Alcazares. Calblanque nature park is a remote area of gorgeous sandy beaches which is 12km away. Cabo De Palos is a small harbour with great fish restaurants and also well known for its good diving can be found 12km away. La Manga is popular for its watersports facilities such as kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing. La Manga itself is a strip that separates the small sea i.e., the Mar Menor from the Mediterranian Sea with many beaches to choose from on both sides. La Manga also offers great nightlife. The La Manga Club is famous in particular for its three top class 18 hole golf courses as well as other fantastic facilities, whether you are interested in sports or not this club is well worth a visit for its range of restaurants, bars and spa. This club is only 10 km away from Estrella. Cartegena (20km) and Murcia (30km) are an excellent day trip for their shops and architecture,

Costa Calida is a golfers paradise and currently has 7 golf course all within 30 mins drive of the apartment with more on the way! If you enjoy visitng and exploring the surrounding area a car would be an advantage. An information pack is provided within the apartment detailing information including local markets, festivals, the nearest supermarket, etc.,

How to get there

Getting to Estrella De Mar couldn't be easier with the choice of flying in to two airports. Murcia Airport is only 20 mins away. Approximately 18 airlines from the UK currently fly to Murcia such as from Stanstead - Ryanair, Birmingham - BA. Flybe, My Travel Lite, Luton - Ryanair, Manchester - BA, Jet2, BMIbaby, Excel Airways, Dublin - Ryanair, Leeds/Bradford - Jet2, East Midlands - Ryanair, BMIbaby, Glasgow - Raynair, Southampton - Flybe, Bristol - Easyjet, Gatwick - Easyjet, BA, Excel Airways, Newcastle - Jet2, Liverpool - Ryanair, Exeter - flybe, Belfast - Jet2, Norwich - Flybe, Edinburgh - Jet2 & Blackpool - Jet2.

Alicante Airport is only approximately 50 minutes away and offers even more choice.

Most airlines do offer good car rental services at time of booking your ticket. If you should choose not to hire a car collection from both airports can be arranged. A quote can be given at time of enquiry.

Communal facilities available for guest include:- two swimming pools, two tennis courts, crazy golf. There are four restaurant/bars serving a variety of international cuisine. The beach is very quiet with views across the Mar Menor. The water of the Mar Menor is incredibly warm throughout the year. The water is calm and shelves very gently providing a safe environment for children. Estrella is situated between two typically Spanish fishing villages.

Written terms & conditions are available at time of booking. Initially to secure a booking a £50.00 deposit will be required. Included in the balance of the booking which is payable 8 weeks before departure will be £50.00 damage deposit which is refundable within 14 days after departure.

For stays longer than a week a laundry change is available for an additional cost of 25 euros, payable direct to the management company.

A welcome pack consisting of tea/coffee/bread/water/milk/orange juice/butter and jam is available at a cost of £8 for two people.
