Situated in a quiet part of Playa Honda across the road to the Lagoon which faces the main La Manga strip of hotels and restaurants. Being a Lagoon the water is warmer and calmer than the sea being very safe for the whole family. The apartment is on the 6th floor over looking the whole pool area and the lagoon. A fully enclosed and secure ground floor incorporates a Heated indoor pool with Sauna. An outdoor pool. A children's Own pool and Play area. A Jacuzzi and a Gym all set beneath palm trees and landscaped gardens In the same road as the apartments are some Shops, Restaurants and a Pharmacy. It also has its own secure underground parking space.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Playa Honda is situated in the region of Murcia. This area of Spain has some of the lowest rainfalls in the whole of Spain. It averages about 320 days of sunshine per year, this making it an ideal place for both Winter and Summer holidays. Especially for those Golfers, Cyclists and out door people. The area is in the Costa Calida which translated means 'Warm Coast'
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area
This resort is ideally suited for Families, Sunbathers, Golfers, Water Sports enthusiasts, Cyclists, Walkers, Tennis players also those that enjoy the Casino as the famous La Manga Country Club is only a 10 min. drive where there is 3 Golf courses, 17 Tennis courts, a Bowling club, several Bars, Restaurants and a Casino.
How to get there
The nearest airport is Murcia, San Javier (only 20 min.) via Ryanair or using Alicante airport (1 hr) using EasyJet or others. The fastest route is on the AP7 motorway (which is a tole road) or you can use the 332 but slower. Both roads are very straite and easy to use. Both airports have car hire companies in the airport where you can easily pick up a car and drop it back when you return home. The phone numbers I will supply when you book.

Further details indoors: The apartment is on the 6th floor serviced by a lift which goes down to the underground car park and pool area. It is furnished to a high standard having a separate fully equipped kitchen with every thing you will need for a self catering holiday for up to 6 people. It has a Fridge/Freezer and washing machine with an external laundry area with a separate sink. The open plan dining area with table and chairs also incorporates the lounge and TV area. The TV with a DVD player having English, Spanish and German channels. There is also a shared roof terrace. All towels and bed linen are supplied. Pool or beach towels are not supplied.
Further details outdoors: The large Balcony has a table and chairs with 2 sun loungers with cushions which over looks the whole pool area and the lagoon. It is ideal to eat most of your meals on which is for a large part of the year. The secure under ground parking is situated in the basement and is reached only by remote or key entry operating electric doors and by lift or stairs directly from the apartment also having a secure vidio-linked entrance system to enter the complex. The pool caters for all age groups the children having their own areas all with lovely surroundings with the added benefit of being completely enclosed. Also having toilet facilities in the pool area.
Further details
If you are arriving late in the evening or do not fancy shopping on arrival you can request a starter pack for items such as Milk, Tea/Coffee, Bread etc. There is an English speaking couple there to greet you on arrival and to give you any help or advice on the apartment and the local amenities.
Conditions
On booking a 25% deposit must be paid with the balance due 6 weeks prior to the booking date. If the balance is not paid by the 6 week prior date the deposit is non refundable and we have the right to try to re-let the apartment. A security of £150.00 is also due with the balance to cover any breakages or damage to the apartment or the contents which subject to our inspection and nothing being damaged or broken will be refunded within 2 weeks of you leaving. No pets or smoking is allowed in the apartment.
