The apartment benefits from an intercom access system, it is fully air conditioned and heated, it is situated on the 1st floor and is accessed via stairs or the lift.
The fully equipped Kitchen with its granite worktops contains a washing machine, Microwave, cooker and a large fridge freezer and all the cooking utensils you will need. Including toaster and sandwich maker etc.
The Lounge area has 2 sofas which can be made into double sofa beds, 32 inch TV with full HD Satellite Channels, Free Wireless and Internet connection, DVD Player, I-Phone docking station, Sony playstation games console with games for both adults and children. A selection of English paperbacks, playing cards and dominoes etc.
Dinning area with seating for 4 or more looking out onto the Mar Menor.
1 Double bedroom with king-size bed and memory foam mattress, side tables with lamps, ceiling high double wardrobes and chest of drawers. With views overlooking the gardens at the rear where you can watch the sun rise over the Med, adjoining large ensuite with a bidet, sink, toilet and a hydro massage booth or a bath to relax in.
One smaller bedroom with two single beds with memory foam mattress. Bedside cabinet with ceiling high double wardrobes with views over the Mar Menor. A Travel cot for babies.
In total the apartment can sleep 6 people in comfort with the capacity to sleep 8 people by utilising both of the sofa beds in the lounge.
Family Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
Balcony with Table and chairs for 6 people.
There are towels for use in the apartment, hairdryer, iron, ironing board and airers.
The apartment also contains a light weight folding push chair, travel cot. No high chair but one can be hired prior to arriving.
There are 5 beach chairs, parasol, cool box, and an assortment of beach balls and games.
No beach towels are provided.

The Apartment has three swimming pools enclosed within a private area accessible only by La Manga beach club residents, a lap pool for the serious swimmer, a fun pool and a safe shallow children's pool. In addition there are two Jacuzzi's, the pool area has direct access on to the sandy beach of the Mar Menor with its calm warm crystal clear waters, providing perfect safe bathing for all. During the summer season, the pool areas have a permanent lifeguard and sunbeds and parasols are provided.
The beach during the summer months has a life guard station. Sun beds, parasols and pedalos are available for hire, a short distance away there can be found fun inflatable’s for children and Jet Ski hire. For the more energetic bicycles can be hired for free.

The Costa Calida region
La Manga del Mar Menor is located in the region of Murcia on the Costa Calida, it is a strip of land which is 21 km in length with an average width of 300m. The strip separates the Mediterranean Sea from the Mar Menor (the Little Sea), which is Europe's largest salt water lagoon with a surface area of 170 km2, and a maximum depth of 8m, the 73 km of coastline contains various volcanic islets and islands and is considered to be the World's largest swimming pool, due to its calm and warm waters which are rich in salts and iodine, maintaining a temperature that is never lower than 18 degrees.
The average annual weather temperature is 17 degrees and the average for the months of June, July, August and September is above 21 degrees with over 320 days and 3000 hours of sunshine a year.Winters are very mild with the average temperature of the coldest months not falling below 10 degrees
Murcia Capital - The capital city of the region is only 80 minutes from La Manga and well worth a visit. You can choose to visit the modern shopping centres or if you prefer take in the history or just enjoy the local tapas bars and restaurants.
Cartagena - The old naval city of Cartagena is another place of interest and is only a 40 minute drive away with stunning architecture, the Roman theatre and castle which can be seen whilst taking the tour bus with English commentary outlining the history of the city. You can also take a ferry around the harbour and out into the Mediterranean sea. The Chiva Bus is a guided tour with a difference. Singing, dancing and live music is performed on the bus and a bar is open on board throughout the tour. If your dance tank still has some juice left by the end of the Cartagena tour, you can dance the night away in one of the city´s many clubs.
Cabo de Palos at the start of the La Manga strip, is a typical Spanish fishing village with a number of fantastic fish restaurants, bars and cafes, take a stroll around the picturesque harbour, watch the fishermen come in with the catch of the day, then sample the delights in one of the excellent restaurants, the perfect spot to spend a relaxing summer evening.
This 'rocky outcrop' into the Mediterranean has beaches on either side and even boasts it's own lighthouse, built in 1865 and until recently housing the largest school for lighthouse keepers in Europe. The tower itself is closed but the grounds are open all year round and it is well worth making the climb for the fantastic views.
This part of the Spanish coast has an abundance of safe, clear and warm waters perfect for exploring the underwater world on a guided dive, or learning how to dive with one of the areas first class diving schools.
One of the other big attractions at Cabo de Palos is the large street market held every Sunday morning, where you can find everything from handbags to carpets, shoes, fruit and vegetables. Why not complete your shopping trip with Sunday lunch in one of the many bars and restaurants in the area.
The La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area
Sandy beaches run the length of the Strip both sides on the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. The water is safe for the children and older people alike.
There are any other places to visit including Los Alcazares, San Pedro de Pinatar, El Algar, La Union, Los Belones, Santiago de la Riberia and San Javier. Some of which have nice beaches or other interesting places to explore.
In the area you can find many areas of conservation including Calblanque Regional Park
At certain times of the year Flamingoes can be seen at the nature reserve just a 5 minute walk from the apartment at the end of the strip.
There are plenty of supermarkets to do your food shopping some within walking distance, there is a small grocery store for milk and essentials also a fresh fruit shop, bakery and a Chemist within a five minute walk. There are a number of larger supermarkets along the strip to do a full shop for the week if you need to, many of them sell fresh Fruit and fresh Fish.
The Mar Menor because of its serenity and clean waters in addition to its favourable weather conditons is an unequalled area for participating in nautical sports. The Mar Menor is considered to be one of the best areas in the world for sailing
Two distinct seas, soft breezes, sunny days and a significant sporting infrastructure makes La Manga a sailors paradise, there are two main Marinas such as the Puerto Tomas Maestre which is a 15 min walk from the apartment or the Port of Cabo de Palos at the beginning of the strip. Which can be reached via the the local bus for little money on the main road which runs the length of the strip. Numerous sailing, windsurfing and kayak schools, and diving clubs for the lovers of underwater activities are a few of the activities that you can find along the La Manga strip and around the Mar Menor.
There are regular sailings and ferry excursions from the Tomas Maestre Marina.The ferry takes about 40 mins and costs about 4 Euros you can take a bicycle for an extra charge. The ferry goes to the seaside town of Santiago de la Ribera located on the westside of the Mar Menor which has many shops,bars and Restaurants. The Tomas Maestre Marina is the largest in the area and home to many expensive boats and yachts, the Marina has a wide variety of bars and restaurants.
In La Manga you can rest, practice sport, and also get to know the local history, join in theatrical or musical productions or participate in the Traditional Fiestas of the area.
You can also make boat trips to the Mar Menor's islands and along the nearby Mediterranean coastline. With nightfall fun is guaranteed, restaurants, bars, discotheques,offer the prospect of prolonging a day full of varied experiences.
A world of flavours is on offer to the visitors of La Manga Strip. With locally caught fish and shellfish recently prepared on hotplates, or as ingredients in the locally famous Caldero, a typical rice dish of fishermen. Many different Restaurants cater for all tastes.
Golf enthusiast - you will love Murcia. Not only is it home to the famous La Manga Golf Club, but many other courses have been built around San Javier and Los Alcazares during the past 5 years. Serrena Golf, Roda Golf and Mar Menor Golf Resort also attract players and visitors from all over Spain. Also within walking distance of the apartment is the 9 hole golf course called Veneziola golf set along the Mediterranean.
Go Karting Mar Menor - Take the kids go-karting and enjoy a great family day out. There is also a trackside cafe and the track is conveniently located at the beginning of the strip.
Aquapolis Fun Park - Perfect for those hot, summer days, in Murcia attracts fun seekers from all over the coast. Water slides and play areas provide plenty of watery fun for kids and adults alike, and the park is open between June and September.
The Terra Natura Theme Park A safari park which also includes a water park and over 700m of water slides. The park is divided into continents and features many species of animals.

La Manga Strip is perfectly connected by all means of transport. Two Airports, Murcia's San Javier and El Altet in Alicante, both having schedule flights to all parts of Europe. Motorways to Madrid, Andalucía, Barcelona and through France to other countries, enabling your trip to be comfortable and quick. The train station in Cartagena and Balsicas-Mar Menor, and regular Bus services also contribute to you reaching your destination in the most simple and uncomplicated manner. Sail or cruise here in your Yacht or Boat and moor in one of the many marinas and ports along the beautiful coastline of the Mar Menor or the Mediterranean.
A Car is not essential as you can book a Taxi at the Airport to take you to the Apartment, once on the strip you can use the local bus service or local taxis are available.
If you do decide to hire a car there are many car rental firms.
Centauro, Europcar, Europa, Sol-mar and many others, these can be hired online or at the airport.
Car hire can be obtained from about £100 for the week which gives you the chance to explore this beautiful region.
The apartment is 40 mins from San Javier Airport and 1 Hour and 45 mins from Alicante.
There is plenty of parking to the rear of the Apartments.

We chose to stay at this apartment due to its quiet location and excellent facilities for ourselves and our two young children (aged 11 and 8). We were not disappointed. The apartment was like brand new,with the added pleasure of sky tv and ipod docking station! Its impossible to find anything the owners have not thought of! Outside we spent plenty of time relaxing on the balcony overlooking the 3 pools and the spectacular clean, quiet and very safe beach. The sunsets are fantastic. Out and about locally ther are some lovely restaurants including Pieters just along the beach which was an end of holiday treat for us.With a choice of supermarkets and bars within walking distance you could spend the entire time relaxing at the apartment but La Manga strip has such a lot to offer a hire car is recommended. Information on all the interesting places to visit is also provided so planning your stay is very easy. Overall i would say the apartment is a credit to Debbie and Keith and will definitely be booking it again. |

Our family had a fantastic two week stay at this apartment in La Manga Beach Club. The apartment is spacious and well equipped - perfect for our family of four (and sofa beds for our visiting guests). The balcony overlooks the private pool area and the beach facing Mar Menor is literally steps away. We spent every day at the beach with our kids playing/snorkling in the shallow water. The beach and water is superclean, uncrowded and simply perfect. The pool area is very nice, located just beneath the apartment with free two pools, children's pool and two jacuzzis. Just two minutes walk away on the other side of the road is the oceanside beach which is almost 3 km long at this point which was mostly empty as we were there in June, just before the main season started. The apartment is located at the tip of the La Mange strip, so there is hardly any traffic or noisy commercial center, but supermarket, bakery/coffee shop, restaurants and a few bars are located within a few hundred meters. We especially enjoyed getting fresh bread and coffee at the nearby panaderie/coffee shop every morning, and several evenings we spent watching the stunning sunset view at the lovely, beachside seafood restaurant Escuela de Pieter, which is found a short walk along the beach on the Mar Menor side. A short drive or bus ride away is the Tomas Maestre Marina with a very nice supermarket (SuperCOR) which is open all week with no siesta break and several restaurants/bars/lounges/ice cream parlours. A few km further down the strip we found a nice commercial area with more restaurants, bars and shops, and a very nice butcher/charcuteria. We also visited the beautiful city of Carthagena a few times (30+ min drive away) with great shopping and restaurants, especially the La Catedral restaurant next to the stunning Roman theater ruins! The owner handled all the logistics perfectly and we have already made plans to return next year to the same place. Highly recommended for a relaxing family vacation with kids! |

very helpful owners they assissted at every level.Appartment can not be faulted in any way at all.Absolutely everything you needed is there.Pool area very good with a very helpful Jose chap,mainenance man.Clean beach but no shade.Use parasols provided in the appartment.Should get the Spanish Red Arrows display at least once a week.Some very nice restaraunts, would suggest trying as many different ones as you can.All in all good value stay in a nice appartment. |

Payments by Bank Transfer or Cheque
A £100 booking deposit per week booked is payable to confirm the booking with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival together with a £150 refundable damage deposit.
The £150 damage deposit will be refunded (subject to a satisfactory inspection of the property) within 2 weeks of your departure and upon the return of the keys if applicable.
A cleaning charge of 60 Euro is payable with the final booking fee.
A midweek clean is available for 15 Euro
Apartment can be booked on a nightly basis minimum 2 nights to suit availability of cheap flights or weekend golfing.
A meet and greet service is available before 22.00 hrs for a small fee after this the price will increase please ask for details.
