The apartment is situated overlooking the beautiful Mar Menor and the Tomás Maestre marina and a short walk to the Mediterranean Sea. The Mar Menor is the world’s largest salt water lagoon and it’s crystal clear shallow waters make it ideal for watersports and for children to swim and play. The area is yet undiscovered by the masses making it a relaxing place to holiday, yet with plenty to do in the area if you wish.
The towns of Cartagena and Murcia are a short drive away.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida sits to the south of the Costa Blanca in the south-east of Spain but is far less developed than its more well known neighbour. The area has a magnificent climate with plenty of sunshine and very little rain. Even in winter temperatures rarely drop below 10°.
The area offers plenty to do with many golf courses and watersports facilities nearby. The nearby old port and town of Cartagena is a short drive away and the regional capital Murcia is well worth a visit.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Los Miradores del Puerto area
La Manga is a narrow strip of land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor, which is an inland sea. One of the beauties of La Manga is that you can experience both the excellent beaches of the Meditterean, including a number of Blue Flag beaches, and the many sheltered beaches and shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor also has a wide variety of watersport activities that are suitable for both children and adults for the more active.
For those wanting to relax the Mar Menor boasts therapeutic qualities and people travel for all over to bath in the waters and use the clay/mud treatments.

The apartment is easily accessible from either Murcia San Javier Airport or Alicante Airport. Low cost airlines service both airports.

Further details indoors: There is a very spacious lounge/dining area with Satellite TV (English and Spanish channels) and DVD, dining space for 6 and a comfortable double sofa-bed, the lounge opens on to a large balcony with space to enjoy the sun or eat out in the evening. There is a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, full oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The apartment also has a utility area with sink and washing machine. The apartment benefits from under-floor heating.
The master bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and drawers. There is an en-suite bathroom and the bedroom has it’s own balconies, which get the sun all day.
The second bedroom has two single beds, with bedside cabinets, and also benefits from fitted wardrobes. The bedroom has it’s own small balcony.
Both bedrooms are well appointed and light.
Both the family and the en-suite bathrooms are a good size, fully tiled and with marble floors. They both have full baths with showers, toilet and bidet and fitted under sink cupboards. The sinks have large mirrors which are well lit.
Further details outdoors: There are two pools, a children's playground and a short-tennis court on site and the beaches of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean are only a short distance away. There are restaurants, bars, shops and many other amenities nearby.

Cleaning and laundry is included in the rates. Linen and towels are provided. A welcome pack can be made available at a charge of €20, paid locally. A mid stay clean is available at €25.
There is no set changeover day.
Long term lets are available on request.
We would appreciate if smokers refrained from smoking within the apartment and used the balcony areas.
Conditions
A £100 deposit must be lodged with the owners. The deposit is non-refundable if your booking is cancelled less than eight weeks prior to your holiday date. The deposit will be refunded at the end of your holiday once the accommodation has been checked for loss or damages, within seven days of your departure. A confirmation of booking and receipt will then be forwarded by email. A final invoice will be forwarded to you eight weeks prior to your holiday date.
