The apartment is just a short drive from many popular attractions like La Manga Golf Club, Cabo de Palos marina and the Roman port city of Cartagena. The property shares a communal pool and has lift access to all floors.

The property has been fully furnished to a high standard with modern and contemporary furniture. The property offers TV, a DVD player and dining table and chairs for 4 people. The kitchen has an electric oven and halogen hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and all amenities. There is one bathroom/shower room. The balcony has a table and four chairs.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

"RIBERA BEACH" is located in an ideal place, just a stone's throw away from the best beaches in the Mar Menor - the largest natural pool in the world. The area is renowned for its crystal clear waters that are a paradise for swimmers and a heaven for all types of watersport fans. The climate is warm and sunny and boasts 320 days sunshine a year. The Mar Menor is about 5 degrees warmer than the Mediterranean.

La Manga Del Mar Menor / Mar De Cristal area

At Ribera Beach you can live in a protected environment that still holds its rural features at the edge of the sea. Just behind the residential area, you can enjoy the Calblanque natural park with kilometres of unspoilt beaches.

Alternatively, the nearby La Manga Golf Club Resort offers a lively international atmosphere that includes many amenities such as casinos, shops, restaurants and of course the three championship golf courses. There is also golf at the following Campoamor, Villamartin, La Finca, Los Rambles, Altorreal, La Marquesea, Fuente Alamo, Mose Trajectum, Torre Pacheco and Greenlands.

The La Manga Strip is a short drive away and has a host of shops, restaurants and bars that offer lively nightlife and plenty of shopping. The nearby fishing village of Cabo de Palos boasts some of the best fish restaurants in the area and a large Sunday market.

Further afield, the regional capital of Murcia is about 30 minutes drive and has a host of fine buildings and shops.

A 15minute drive South is the old port city of Cartagena, which has a good array of shops, hypermarkets, departmental stores as well as historical buildings including a Roman Amphitheatre.

Los Belones is a nearby local village that is a 5 minutes drive and offers horse riding and many varied excellent restaurants, including Italian, Indian and an English Pub serving a good English Breakfast.

Apart from being a naturally beautiful, calm and tranquil area, Ribera Beach fully caters for all your needs and offers excellent travel links, with direct access to the motorway and proximity to Murcia and Alicante airports.

How to get there

Flights
Fly to Murcia Airport (San Javier) and the apartment at Ribera Beach is approximately 36Kms (22.5 miles). Many cheap flights are available all year round from most British Airports. Suggested carriers are Easyjet or Ryan Air.

Car Hire
There are many car hire facilites directly within the airport with prices starting from as little as £12 per day.

Directions
From the Airport, take the motorway AP 7 south to Cartagena take the MU 312 to La Manga look for the sign to Mar de crystal, it is all motorway and will take under 20 minutes.
