Home description
This fantastic new detached villa with its own private pool and jacuzzi, set in a private enclosed garden. The villa is very large and spacious with plenty of space both inside and out. It is furnished to the highest standards with brand new furniture. This is a wonderful place to take a relaxing holiday.
The master bedroom has a dressing area and en suite bathroom with twin basins set in a vanity unit, shower over bath, wc and bidet. The second bedroom is also a double and the third bedroom is a twin with two single beds. All these upstairs bedrooms have patio doors onto the upstairs terrace with stunning views across the Mar Menor sea. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a family bathroom with shower over bath, WC, bidet and vanity unit.
Downstairs there is a further twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and another family bathroom.
The lounge diner is large and spacious with a fireplace, TV and DVD. There is a Satellite TV service with 34 channels. The dining room has a large table which would easily seat 8-10 and there are patio doors onto the bottom terrace, with steps down to the garden and pool. The kitchen is very large and separate with serving hatch to the dining room.
There is a door to the garden and table and chairs just outside the kitchen door. The kitchen has two fridge freezers, dishwashers, oven and hob, double sink and drainer. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer and two hot water tanks so that the four bathrooms never run out of hot water.
The garden is fully enclosed with a good sized 8 x 4m pool with a jacuzzi at the shallow end. There are plenty of sunloungers and also palm trees if you wish to find some shade. There is a built in charcoal BBQ, most important for those evenings in!
You can enjoy some fantastic sunsets from the terraces of the villa and the views across the Mar Menor are stunning. The villa is set in a very quiet residential area, it has a long driveway and car port so there is plenty of off road parking. There is a garage downstairs, which only the owner has access to, but the storage area is available to store your suitcases.
The location is excellent being only 5 -10 mins walk from the restaurants and bars on La Manga Strip. You can enjoy some fine dining at Spanish, Chinese, Italian or Argentinian restaurants and if you wish to dance the night away til dawn, there is Bongo´s Bar. All of these are just around the corner, but the villa is off the beaten track so you will not be disturbed by any noise.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Nestling at the bottom of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Calida is one of the least known and most unspoilt regions of Spain, guaranteed to give you a taste of "real Spain".
With over 315 days of sunshine every year it is little wonder that the Costa Calida means "warm coast" and the unspoilt inland waters of the Mar Menor, the largest natural lagoon in Europe, offer safe and warm water bathing all year round.
The area is best know for the La Manga Club resort, renowned for its three Championship Golf courses, LTA Tennis Centre Training Ground and being the training ground of visiting football teams from Spain, the UK and the whole of Europe. There are over 22 tennis courts with the option of booking tennis coaching on an hourly or weekly basis. Short tennis, squash courts, bowling green and pitch and putt to name but a few of the sporting attractions. The Hyatt hotel is a fabulous 5 Star hotel and more, with Pool Restaurant and now the newly opened Spa. Spoil yourself with a treatment from a manicure to the full 90 minute signature Lavender Massage with facial. For the evening there are over 30 restaurants and bars to dine in and to relax and enjoy yourself. These range in style and price from the Amapola Restaurant at the Hyatt which is superb but a little expensive to Si bar for inexpensive dining with family entertainment.
The area has so much to offer and it doesnt stop with La Manga Club. There are 8 further golf courses of an excellent standard, and a further 12 under development.
La Manga Strip ... the "sleeve" of land that runs from Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north is 18km long and encloses the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor to the west and has the livelier colder Mediterranean to the east. The Strip is up to 1km wide in parts and in others is is merely 100m allowing only for the road to run through with a beach on either side. La Manga Strip is a town in its own right, albeit an long thin one! There are shopping centres, restaurants and bars set in plazas or squares. The marina at the Puerto Tomas Maestre is beautiful and houses some stunning boats and yachts that most of us can only dream of, but the restaurants are great and the atmosphere is wonderful.
Water sports ... well there could not be a better or safer place to learn to sail, jet ski or kite board. The area has a number of sailing schools with a wide range of boats and dinghies on which to learn to sail or to brush up your sailing skills. Diving is a popular sport and there are a number of different diving schools offering anything from the beginners course to night dives for the more expereinced diver. The dive around Isla Grosa, for example, takes around 1 hour and takes your through the magnificent quartz caves.
La Manga Del Mar Menor area
This narrow strip of land 18km miles long offers the choice of two seas - the Mar Menor on one side, ideal for watersports and the Mediterranean, perfect for fishing and underwater exploration. Down `the strip' you'll find a host of restaurants and bars to choose from and soak up the buzzing nightlife of Plaza Bohemia and Zoco. Further down is Tomas Maestre marina with over one thousand moorings and a range of bars and restaurants. The marina is beautiful and smart and the yachts are just amazing. The choice of restaurants is great with Greek, French, Spanish, Italian. For those less adventurous there are burger bars as well. There is a commercial centre within 100m from the apartment with supermarket, restaurants, boat hire, hair dressers, shoe and handbag shops! A bit further on the main road 300m is another supermarket, pharmacy, banks with ATM. There are two children's playgrounds within 350m of the apartment.
This is a really beautiful area with stunning beaches and plenty to do, however it has a very calm and tranquil atmosphere.

ANY day change over to allow you to take advantage of those cheaper mid week flights during the off season. Saturday to Saturday change over in Peak Season. Taxi transfers from Alicante or Murcia airports on request. You DONT need a car ... it is all here. Prices include linen and towel but you must bring your own beach towels. Welcome pack of tea coffee, milk and sugar, water wine and juice will be provided and other items available upon request. Mid term change of linen and clean for all bookings over 10 days.
