The secure complex is ideal for families and offers an indoor pool and sauna, outdoor pools with waterfall and spa, well equipped gym and sun roof terraces. There is a children's play area, generous seating and outdoor showers around the pools. Locally there is tennis & basketball courts, horse riding, go-karting & water sports.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The weather is generally mild not dropping below 17 degrees and enjoys sun for 320 days of the year, making it an ideal location for holidays any time of the year. Summers can be hot climbing to 30 degrees. The Mar Menor is well known for it's natual mineral healing properties and is very popular with the the Spanish community, The Mar Menor, the largest salt lake in Europe is shallow and non tidal making it a perfect place for swimming, water sports and having fun. The famous La Manga Golf Club & Hyatt Regency Hotel is a 10 minute drive from the complex, where you can play golf on the North, South & East courses and enjoy any of the facilities or dine at the restaurant or al fresco dining area at La Hyatt Regency Hotel. There is a large supermarket , various shops and some nice restaurants at Cabo du Palos 5 minutes along the main road and on Sundays a large popular Market.



La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area

Playa Honda is a quiet Spanish village with a supermarket ,a few bars and a beach cafe. Along to the right is La Manga Camping which has a club house & beach front bars. Just a short car ride away is the famous La Manga Club which offers championship golf courses along with tennis, spa facilities and much more. This is also open all year round to the public. Locally there are tennis courts, go -karting , horse riding and water sports to be enjoyed. The area surrounding the Mar Menor is mostly flat which makes it ideal for walking and cycling and bikes can be hired nearby.

There are many markets to visit on various days of the week which are very popular with the local people, selling everything from fresh vegetable s, meats, fish and local specialities to linen, clothes, hardware and many more items . Not far from the complex is La Manga Strip which offers national and international cuisine at reasonable prices and plenty of night life. In the next villages, which are easily accessible are Mar de Cristal and Los Belones with some lovely restaurants that welcome all the family.

Both Murcia and Catagena are historic town with lots of museums to visit, the architecture has been very well kept and the port in Cartagena is lovely.


How to get there

Playa Honda is easily accessible from either Alicante airport or San Javier (Murcia) airport.
There are regular flights with all airlines from uk airports, many of them low cost, i.e Easyjet.co.uk
If you prefer to rent a car there are many to chose from, like alicante-carhire.com, or on arrival there is an abundant choice of car hire companies all serving the airports.

The apartment blocks have been built in colours that reflect the land, sand and sea. As the apartment is on the 6th floor there are stunning views from the bedrooms. The terrace overlooks the holiday complex and the surrounding areas taking in the panoramic views.

This apartment is adjacent to our other apartment P14, a three bedroom & two bathoom apartment. Tthere are just the two apartments on each floor, which allows two families or larger groups to holiday at the same time and rent an apartment next to each other. Both apartments are identically furnished to the same high standard.
