The Los Olivos community is located in the centre of La Manga, ideally placed to access all facilities. There are 2 large shared outdoor pools, including baby pool areas and 1 indoor heated pool with jacuzzi open all year round.
This luxury, newly improved contemporary apartment offers a real home from home with excellent facilities. Large light and airy sitting room and dining area opens out onto a spacious well-equipped terrace with stunning views of the Mar Menor. Terrace has barbecue, table with chairs and sun loungers. Large main bedroom with king size bed (can be converted into 2 singles), TV and large en suite with separate shower and bath. Second bedroom with two comfortable single beds. Large second bathroom. Lots of storage. Air conditioned throughout. Excellent facilities include Sky TV including sports channels, DVD, CD player, well equipped fitted kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Well equipped for families, including cot, high chair, toys and games.

The first bedroom has a king size bed (can be 2 singles), triple wardrobe, Sky TV and large en-suite with walk-in shower , two basins and full size bath. The second bedroom has twin beds and two double wardrobes. Large main bathroom with bath and shower.
Well-equipped fitted kitchen with granite worktops. hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and well stocked with crockery, including children's items.

There is a large terrace with balcony leading from the living room/diner with outdoor furniture, BBQ and an electric awning. Outdoor table seats 6, loungers also available. Los Olivos is set in well maintained gardens and user friendly walkways to all amenities. Los Olivos community has 2 large shared outdoor pools, including baby pool areas and 1 indoor heated pool with jacuzzi open all year round. Storage room contains beach and pool toys, tennis rackets and toys.
The apartment is a raised ground floor with balcony. Apartment accessed by a few steps from the internal road within the Los Olivos community. Apartment all on one level. Ample car parking.
Conditions
Preferred changeover day is Saturday, although can be flexible, particularly off-peak. Short breaks considered.
Confirmation of booking requires a 25% non-refundable deposit on completion and receipt of a booking form. 8 weeks prior to departure balance of holiday to be paid in full. Bank transfer or cheques preferred.

The Costa Calida region
There is a lot to see in Murcia.The nearest city is historic Cartagena (20 mins drive) where you will find the old port, restaurants and excellent shopping. Cartagena is an ancient port which predates the Roman period, You can visit the remains of a Roman theatre and several museums and galleries. The city's architecture is impressive and has benefited from a great deal of regeneration to establish it as the Barcelona of Southern Spain. Places of interest include the Church of Santa Maria La Vieja, the Torre Ciega, Torres Park and the Castle de la Concepcion. One of the prettiest areas in the city is its port, where you can find the Modernist Town Hall, several monuments, such as the one dedicated to the Heroes of Cavite and Santiago de Cuba and the first submarine in the world ever to be launched. The next stop after Cartagena is Mazarron, which has a magnificent bay . Cartagena has great shops, including a massive, new El Corte Ingles. There is also a great out of town shopping centre with supermarkets, clothing stores like Zara etc.
Inland 45 minutes from La Manga is the beautiful regional capital Murcia. Although a bustling city, there is a beautiful old town with shaded squares, outdoor cafes, tapas bars and restaurants. The most important monument in the old town is the Cathedral. Other outstanding monuments include the Episcopal Palace, the Casino, several churches and impressive examples of 19th century architecture.
Other interesting museums are the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of La Huerta.
The La Manga Club / Los Olivos, La Manga area
La Manga Club is a fantastic holiday destination for children and families. Children and teenagers are sure to have a great time taking part in the many activities and making friends. Particular favourites include the junior golf, tennis, football, rugby and cricket academies, the Junior Club, playing crazy golf, splashing in the pool... all of which means that there is plenty of opportunity for mum and dad to relax as well (we strongly recommend that you book before arrival during the high season). La Manga Club has its own private beach, La Cala, set in a beautiful cove a 5 minute drive from the property (during the high season summer period a courtesy bus can take you to/from this beach).
La Manga Club is best known for its 3 excellent golf courses. There is also a picturesque par 47 pitch and putt close to Los Olivos suitable for all ages. Locally there are many other golf courses within easy reach. La Manga is a golfer's paradise.
There are numerous restaurants within La Manga Club catering to a variety of budgets and tastes. Most of these are within a 5 minute walk of the apartment.
There are 2 supermarkets, the nearest of which is a 5 minute walk away. Outside the Club there are lots of restaurants and two larger supermarkets at Cabo de Palos if you prefer to do a big shop at the beginning of your holiday. Information on restaurants and 'things to do' are detailed in an information booklet in the apartment.
There are several banks on site with cash points. A great range of on-site shops. Stunning New 5 star spa at Spa La Manga Club and Wellness Centre, complete with treatment rooms, deluxe spa suites, gymnasium and fitness studio, jacuzzis, saunas, steam rooms, fun showers, and 25m indoor swimming pool.
At the 5 star Hyatt Hotel the Piano bar is renowned for its lively atmosphere. The hotel is a great place to go for lunch or a drink!
Although it is tempting to focus on the many attractions in La Manga, there is so much more to see and do in the surrounding area.
Los Belones is the nearest village 5 mins drive with lots of restaurants and shops. Cabo de Palos, a lovely fishing village with excellent selection waterfront seafood restaurants is a 10 minute drive. On a Sunday morning there is a market where you will find clothes, leather goods and fresh local produce.
There are many safe beaches around the shallow enclosed Mar Menor, within an easy car ride. The resorts around the Mar Menor offer plenty of beaches and excellent water sports facilities.
La Manga is surrounded by a National Park and the nature reserve beaches of Calblanque, which are unspoilt and spectacular, within a 10 minute drive.
