In order to be family friendly, La Galeria offers all necessary facilities, including FREE WIFI, right down to high chairs, stair gates, cots and toys at no extra cost. There is a fabulous and extensive terrace for relaxing in the sun, also a covered BBQ area for those who prefer a little shade.

This room opens onto a large terrace with fantastic views across the Mar Menor
Dining Room: Again very contemporary, designer table with seating for 8, cabinet containing a wonderful choice of books, some of which can be kept with our compliments.

Sun Terrace:
This wonderful area is a sun worshipper’s paradise, fully equipped with four full length sun beds & towels also provided. For those who prefer the shade there is also a large under covered BBQ area, with fully, equipped BBQ dining table & seating for 8. The views across the meticulously manicured south course stretch right across La Manga Club to the hazy welcome of the Mar Menor.
Top Solarium:
Once again another sun worshipper’s paradise, allowing you to have sun through out the day, there is also another table and chairs, nice for an evening drink and watch the sun go down, with once again breath taking views, which are simply stunning at night.

A deposit of 25% will be required once a booking has been confirmed; the remainder will be payable six
weeks before departure.
Should you wish to cancel after a booking has been accepted, the following charges will be due:
Cancellation up to 60 days before arrival – Loss of deposit.
Cancellation 59 – 30 days before arrival – 50% of rental cost
Cancellation 29 – 15 days before arrival – 75% of rental cost
Cancellation 14 – 0 days before arrival – 100% of rental cost.

Property, if no alternative can be found, we will refund your money in full.

The Costa Calida region
This area is steeped in history, with Cartegena and Murcia being the two major cities. The Costa Calida is known as the warm coast with an average of 300 days sunshine per annum, it has also been recognized by the World Health Organization as one of the best places to live in the world.
La Manga is surrounded by beautiful coastline and bustling fishing villages. A small cove with sun beds and restaurant is within 2 minutes drive of the property. The Mar Menor beaches are within 10 minutes drive, with water sports available at Los Nietos and La Manga Strip. Also on the strip there are many restaurants, and a very busy night life.

Golf:
With 3 championship courses, and superb practice facilities it is hardly surprising that La Manga Club has been voted Europe's top golf resort for the last three years. It has played host to international tournaments including the Spanish Open, PGA Spanish Championships and Ladies Spanish Open. Advance booking is recommended. Other awards include: European Golf Resort of the Year, Hertz International Golf Travel Awards 1999. Europe's Leading Golf Resort, World Travel Awards 2001.
The Golf Academy caters for all levels of ability, and lessons can be booked at the golf academy with the club professionals. Locally there are many other golf courses within easy reach, this is truly a paradise for golfers. Green fees at La Manga Club are discounted by 50% for villa guests.

Tennis: The La Manga Tennis Centre is one of the finest outdoor facilities in Europe and has even hosted such prestigious events as the Davis Cup. Centrally located it boasts 28 courts, most of which are floodlit, with a choice of clay, astroturf or hard surfaces. The tennis academy makes use of the latest coaching technologies and provides top class tuition for all ages. There is also a tennis shop with a selection of the best-known brands in clothing and equipment. Equipment hire services, racket service centre, fitness centre, sauna and jacuzzi. The nearest airport is Murcia, (San Javier) it is only 20 minutes away from the club with low cost flights from many UK and European cities. Alicante airport is 50 minutes away.
Car hire can be booked in advance or on arrival. Taxis are also available.

We stayed here in May 2011 and had a great holiday. We plan to return again this year. The house is modern, clean and well kept. There is plenty of space - bedrooms are downstairs, and living area/ kitchen is upstairs opening onto the large balcony, and leading up to the 2nd balcony. It is perfect for families - for babies they have a cot, high chair, and box of toys available which made life easy for us. There is a supermarket in walking distance (in Bellaluz complex), as well as a bigger shop on the other side of the resort. The swimming pool is just out the back door, and we had it to our selves most of the time. There is a small toddler pool there too. Its a little cold, but we still enjoyed swimming in it to cool off. We also visited the restaurant and pool at nearby Los Molinos. The main resort pool at the Oasis was closed in May, which didn't bother us. There is lots of amenities in the resort - we rarely left. We used the creche which was great, and the restaurants are all very family friendly. We don't play golf or tennis, but I understand the facilities are very good. |

We were two families staying in the villa during July 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed the villa with ample sleeping quarters for 10(!), outside barbecue with up to 22 attending (4 families) and short distances to the beaches of La Manga, the football academy and the sights and sounds of nearby fishing and mining villages as well as the bigger cities of Cartagena and Murcia. Also, don't forget the local beach and footpath areas just to the west, a brisk walk or local shuttlevan takes you down to the cliffs and beaches where there's little congestion, it is safe and lots of coves and cliffs to snorkle around The community is gated and secure, with "all you need" inside the club area. Our kids are teens who enjoyed the sports and pools areas locally, our friends visited with smaller kids who enjoyed the play areas. A very nice place, furnishings and local amenities. Highly recommended! |
