About the home

Entry to this wonderful new villa is via a short flight of steps into the large spacious open plan living and dining room, with stunning views of the surrounding area.

To the right is the corridor which leads to the bedrooms and first the modern well equipped kitchen which has new oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, plus a door out to the large rear terrace and large swimming pool. The views from the terrace towards the Mar Menor are stunning.

The first bedroom off the corridor is a spacious twin bedroom with built in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom, and views across the countryside towards the Med.

Then there are two more bedrooms both with built in wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms, one with views across the countryside, a twin room, the othera double with patio doors leading to the terrace and swimming pool.

At the end of the corridor is the large master suite with ensuite shower room and built in wardrobe.

The house enjoys fantastic views in a peaceful location and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your holiday.

Car hire is recommended.

To the rear of the villa is your very own large private terrace leading to the wonderful near infinity salt water system private pool. The area offers stunning views to Los Belones, a 7 minute drive away, and the Mar Menor.

The villa has ample room for parking at the front of the house, and is surrounded by stunning countryside which offers some wonderful walks to the cliffs and beaches of Calblanque National Park.

Swimming pools carry their own inherent risks and we will not accept any responsibility for any accidents that occur using the pool through the guests negligence. Children should not be allowed to use the pool unattended at any time.

We are happy to accept arrivals on any day of the week allowing you to take advantage of the cheaper mid week flights. Also happy to accept bookings of any number of days, for example if you can find the time or cheaper flights with an 8 day stay rather than 7 we would be happy to accommodate you.

The price INCLUDES all linen and bath towels. We do not provide pool or beach towels and request that you bring these with you.

Bookings of 10 days or more have a mid week clean and linen change.

Cleaning and laundry are included in the price for a preparation clean, mid clean (over 10 days) and final clean. However if you would like a daily maid service this available upon request.

Travel cot and high chair are available upon request for a small fee.

Conditions

Refundable damage deposit required of 200GB pounds.

We can accept payments by cheque in GBP, bank transfer in GBP or Euros, or by credit card in Euros.

The Costa Calida region

Nestling at the bottom of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Calida is one of the least known and most unspoilt regions of Spain, guaranteed to give you a taste of "real Spain".

With over 315 days of sunshine every year it is little wonder that the Costa Calida means "warm coast" and the unspoilt inland waters of the Mar Menor, the largest natural lagoon in Europe, offer safe and warm water bathing all year round.

La Manga Strip ... the "sleeve" of land that runs from Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north is 18km long and encloses the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor to the west and has the livelier colder Mediterranean to the east. The Strip is up to 1km wide in parts and in others is merely 100m allowing only for the road to run through with a beach on either side. La Manga Strip is a town in its own right, albeit a long thin one! There are shopping centres, restaurants and bars set in plazas or squares. The marina at the Puerto Tomas Maestre is beautiful and houses some stunning boats and yachts that most of us can only dream of, but the restaurants are great and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The La Manga Club / Los Belones area

The villa is located near Los Belones which is a thriving Spanish village. It has a a wide range of facilites, bars and restaurants ranging from Spanish, Italian, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and English. There are two small well stocked supermarkets, bread and cake shops, fish shop, butchers both English and Spanish, hairdressers, paper shop, fruit and veg shop and a some clothes shops, electric shops, dentist, doctors and two shops which sell probably things you didnt know you needed!

There are a number of paths and tracks near the villa for some wonderful walks which with give you stunning views.

On the way to the villa from Los Belones you will pass the local stables where you can go horse riding, and the fountain the source of fresh cold water which some locals still collect and use.

It is also a short drive to La Manga club which has 3 championship 18 hole golf courses, 28 tennis courts, 3 squash courts, 2 gymnasiums, Five Star Hyatt Hotel, Spa with therapy rooms, football academy, golf academy and much much more. There are over 25 restaurants on site catering for all tastes.

Water sports ... well there could not be a better or safer place to learn to sail, jet ski or kite board. The area has a number of sailing schools with a wide range of boats and dinghies on which to learn to sail or to brush up your sailing skills. Diving is a popular sport and there are a number of different diving schools offering anything from the beginner’s course to night dives for the more experienced diver.

“beautiful, luxurious, inspirational” In short the villa is a diamond. Bright, spacious, luxurious, clean and with everything you need. The main feature of the villa is where it is. With incredible views and a short walk to what feels like your own private beach this villa is wonderful for absolutely anyone - couples, a family, a group of friends. I visited with my friend in late May as an early summer getaway and found the weather, the pool, the beach, the villa and the local amenities perfect. Lastly Jane the villas manager was on hand whenever we needed, kind, welcoming and efficient (for instance we couldn't find a light switch to the terrace!) Highly recommend.
