The local beaches at Port Miramar the port of La Londe offer a range of facilities and watersports whilst others towards the Fort de Bregancon a few kms away, are extremely popular with families and boat owners alike. The Route des Vins at La Londe covers the beautiful headland and rich soils of the region plays host to over 35 vineyards most of which open their doors for degustations and sales direct.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Provence is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe, it is a blend of sun-baked hilltop villages and glamorous resorts like St Tropez and Nice to the east and Bandol to the west.
The climate around this area is both warm and sunny for most of the year - becoming very hot in August. The beaches in the area are superb with clear seas and warm sands - 12 alone in the commune of Le Lavandou a short drive away. Some around the peninsula of Cap Benat and the Fort de Bregancon are more and interesting and offer superb facilities for windsurfing, sailing, diving etc.
In the immediate vicinity, lies Hyeres, La Londe, Le Lavandou and Bormes les Mimosas and all have an array of fine restaurants, cafes and bars as well as good shopping in terms of local markets and supermarkets. Fresh fish is obviously a highlight of local cuisine with favourites such as Moules, Dorade and Bouillabaise featuring on many menues. Michelin star and other fine restaurants are offering the talents of the Chefs using local produce and wines.
La Londe Les Maures / Valcros area
La Londe is situated on the coast between Hyeres and Le Lavandou - just 15 - 20 minutes drive from Toulon - Hyeres Airport.
French Railways and TGV services alight at Toulon some 35kms away for rail users from the north - car hire facilities are available at the station also.
There are over 35 vineyards in the immediate area producing some outstanding Cru Classe Provencal wines. Bormes les Mimosas is about 10kms from La Londe and Le Lavandou is 15 kms. St Tropez is about 35 kms.

Ryanair fly to Toulon-Hyeres Airport from Stansted- 15/20 minutes drive from our property.
Nice and Marseilles Airports are other main entry airports - about 1.5 hrs drive
Trains from UK via TGV to Toulon also run.

Further details indoors: Set over 3 floors on a south facing hillside, this huge 350 sq metre 5 double bedroomed Villa has a lift to assist those with mobility problems and luggage. Top floor is the entrance and study with the master bedroom suite. The middle floor is for leisure - snooker room with Satellite TV and Denon sound system, huge lounge and dining room with Bose audio systems and satellite TV, Kitchen with 2 full size Smeg ovens, Invection hob, US style fridge freezer, waste disposer, washing up machine - separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer and fridge freezer. Outside the Kitchen is a covered area for dining and sitting/lounging leading onto the extensive terraces with views over the valley below. The 12 metre infinity pool has a deck area and pool house with shower and washing machines/dryer for towels etc. On the lower floor are the four double bedrooms al with ensuite shower or bathrooms, separated by a lounge with a 43" Plasma TV with Satellite and DVD - with surround sound speakers. All bedrooms have sliding mosquito screens and air cooling.
Further details outdoors: The Villa is on a private domain with its own gates - and we have our own electronically operated gates. There is ample parking on the road and down the steepish drive is a garage for two cars and sufficient turning space.
