Enjoy a modern, well presented, two bedroom, mobile home situated at Parc Valrose, approximately 30km/18 miles from St Tropez, in the South of France. Parc Valrose is situated just outside La Londe des Maures, a pretty town in the beautiful foothills of the Maures Mountains. A short distance away are a number of wonderful safe sandy beaches and the bustling Port Miramar where facilities for watersports and diving also can be found. La Lavandou, a lovely sea side town, and the ancient village of Bormes les Mimosas are a 10/15 minutes drive. Toulon is approx.10 miles in the opposite direction. In La Londe there are shops, bars, restaurants and two supermarkets and nearby is the par 70 golf course, Golf de Valcros.
Parc Valrose which is run by an English family has a heated swimming pool , boules court , table tennis , games room, restaurant and laundry. It has many mature shady trees and being fully fenced is ideal for children. Internet access is provided by Parc Valrose either directly to the caravan or at their office for a small charge. Other internet facilities may also be found in La Londe.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
The area is world famous for its climate and beautiful sandy beaches. During July and August you can more or less guarantee the weather will be hot and sunny. Whilst May, June, September, and October will be cooler, the temperatures should be equal to a good British summer.
The whole coast line has a range of seaside resorts running from Toulon through to the Italian border. Local to La Londe are a range of beaches from public ones to the more secluded and undeveloped private ones attached to vineyards. For these there is a daily charge but all the others are free, including car parking.
The whole area is nautically oriented with marinas at Port Miramar, La Lavandou, St Tropez, Hyeres and Toulon. St Tropez is a popular place to visit with its millionaires' yachts, port-side artists, designer clothes boutiques and restaurants.
For golf lovers there is the par 72 golf course Golfe Valcros. The course is open to day visitors
Also close by, is Bormes Les Mimosas an ancient village perched on the mountain side, which is well worth a visit to see its exotic and colourful displays of flowers. Again free car parking is available. Many of the restaurants have views over the local area.
Any wine lover will love the whole region as the main agriculture is vine growing and there are numerous vineyards and chateaux offering 'degustations'.
La Londe Les Maures / Valrose area
La Londe is a pretty town with shops, restaurants and two super markets. It has a wide main street and a large Sunday market. The Mobile Home is sited in the Parc Valrose which is located just outside La Londe towards the east on the D559 road ( exact location details will be sent to hirers). Also on the D559 is the Jardin d'Oiseaux which has many rare bird species. It is open all year round.
Port de Miramar is a 15 minute drive from the mobile home. It has a large marina and facilities for visiting craft. The Port has several boutiques, restaurants and free car parks. On either side are spacious sandy bays. There are sub aqua diving facilities based on the port and on one of the adjacent bays. Ferries operate from the port to the off-shore islands of Porquerolles, Port-cros (a national park) and Levant (favoured by naturists). All of the islands make excellent day trips.
There are many beaches in the Hyeres area. Particularly interesting is the Golfe de Giens which on one side of the road, Route de Sel, has a very popular beach much favoured by wind surfers and on the other an inland lagoon which has a flock of flamingos.
To the east beyond Port Miramar are several private undeveloped beaches owned by the local vineyards. Also there is the Cap de Bregancon on which there is a chateau used by the President of France for vacations. Further along is La Lavandou a pretty resort with beaches, restaurants and a series of boules courts which are used for tournaments. Lavandou port is crammed with boats and restaurants.
Further eastwards is the famed St Tropez where the yachts have to be seen to be believed. Several are four or five stories tall compared with the typical provencal buildings that line the harbour. The Golfe de St Tropez is a large deep water inlet where large yachts frequently moor. At one end of the Golfe de St Tropez is Port Grimaud. This port whilst relatively newly built is like a modern Venice with its waterways and moorings adjacent to the properties.
How to get there
By Road: La Londe les Maures lies on the N98 mid way between Toulon and St Tropez. Parc Valrose is to the east of La Londe on the D559

Further details indoors: The mobile home is privately owned and well maintained. Everything is provided for a self catering holiday except for bed linen and towels.
Outside is a patio table, chairs, sun loungers and Umbrellas are provided for the tables. Alongside is parking for your car.
A feature of the site is its open aspect with views over fields from the patio. The caravan is one of the few that offer this open aspect on the Valrose site.
