Spectacular detached villa, with wonderful views of La Herradura Bay. The villa is very quiet and affords the guests privacy. You are within walking distance of the beach, the luxury marina, Marina Del Este and local restaurants, bars & shops.
There are fantastic paronamic views from the villa to the sea overlooking the horse shoe coastline of the Costa Tropical both from terrace and gardens.
Sleeps maximum of 10 people. With an option to sleep 12 with two extra fold up beds. The villa has a huge private pool (10 x 5 metres) exclusive to the villa.
The whole villa is furnished to the highest standard. The owners have just moved out of the villa so the fixtures and fittings i.e. beds, seating in lounge and dining area are of top quality to the same standard you would expect in your own home.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The term “Costa Tropical” is well deserved, as the sun shines, warming and illuminating, longer here than anywhere else in Europe. Winters are short and summers long, while autumn and spring are often delightful. Almuñécar, in fact, enjoys a unique micro climate which has led to its being known as the Tropical Coast, though the climate is more exactly subtropical, as humidity is very low.
Pleasant sea breezes refresh the heat of high summer, while the mountains parallel to the coast protect it from the cold northern winds. The Mediterranean, itself, serves as a thermostat, regulating and moderating brusque changes in temperature. In other words, the climate here is very mild and temperatures moderate. La Herradura (the horseshoe) is a beautiful bay with a wealth of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. There is also a wide variety of water sports available.
In the winter season, temperatures rarely fall below 10-12°C, the average being around 18°C. In summer, this rises to about 25°C, with midday maximums of 30°C, though these are greatly alleviated by the sea breezes.
The effects of this marvellous climate are immediately apparent: the markets are full of delicious, exotic fruits and vegetables and flowers carpet the mountain sides while not very far north, ice and snow cover the ground. Here, the first flowers appear on the almond trees before Christmas.
La Herradura area
La Herradura is a small village which has developed around a horseshoe shaped bay with over 1 mile of beach. It is approx. 1.5 hour from Marbella, 50 min from Malaga, 15 minutes from Nerja, 10 minutes from the beautiful town of Almunecar with its castle, Roman ruins, winding streets and popular Friday market, 1 hour from Granada, 1.5 hours from skiing at Sierra Nevada and 1 hour from the white villages of the Alpujarras.
There are many beaches to choose from within a short drive of the house with water sports available on the beach at La Herradura. The area has many excellent restaurants and a beautiful marina (Marina del Este).
In the summer and winter you can enjoy fabulous walks in the many National Parks, golf on 1 of the many courses in the region (the closest being in Salobrena a 10 minute drive away) where you can indulge in 9 or 18 holes, or skiing in the Sierra Nevada only 1 hours drive away. For the more adventurous there is a fantastic water park in Almunecar which is open at high season.

1. Head south-east on Av del Comandante García Morato 0.3 km 2. Turn right to stay on Av del Comandante García Morato Go through 1 roundabout 0.9 km 3. Continue on Camino de la Loma de San Julián 0.2 km 4. Turn right to merge onto N-340/Av de Velázquez 2.4 km 5. Take the ramp to E-15/A-7 0.2 km 6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for E-15/Motril/N-331/Antequera and merge onto E-15/A-7 75.3 km 7. Take exit 305 toward N-340a/La Herradura/Almuñécar 0.5 km 8. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto E-15 heading to N-340a/La Herradura/Almunécar 0.9 km 9. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto E-15/N-340 1.6 km 10. The first floor comprises of three large bedrooms, master king size double with en suite full bathroom, two twin bedrooms with two bathrooms. Theres a spacious split level dining kitchen following onto the open lounge able to dine for 12 people, with terraces offering 180 degree views of the sea. There is a large fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table and separate pantry, fridge, washing machine etc. The villa is fully equipped with all the luxuries including hot and cold air-conditioning, SKY television, projection TV with the latest cinema surround sound system.
Below on the ground level there is a self-contained apartment with bedroom, full kitchen, large lounge area with double bed sofa-bed and full bathroom. This ideal for larger families and groups, who want to take advantage of the separate accommodation and facilities, i.e. grandparents, older children, nanny, etc.
