Penthouse | 2 bedrooms | sleeps 4
The new Penthouse Camaria in La Herradura, Costa Tropical has been elegantly styled with a warm and atmospheric finish. High quality furnishing, materials and home decor have been personally selected and brought to Camaria from many parts around the world, now for you to enjoy the harmony of it too.
Needless to say the newly designed non-smoking penthouse home is fully equipped to make your time here relaxing, regardless of your holiday interests. The contemporary styled high quality Nolte (German) kitchen is quite adequate for cooking in, if you so choose and enjoy dining on the stunning 85 Sq. m huge sunny terrace.
The penthouse terrace, which can be entered from 3 different see-through sliding doors is indeed a multipurpose “summer house / winter garden” in itself. You may like to start the day there by your favourite morning exercise and choose to have the breakfast in one of the sunny corners or just simply to enjoy the sea and mountain scenery in the rocking chair. In addition to various terrace furniture set's you have also the opportunity to relax in a sun lounger throughout the day and access the property owner's communal outdoor pool by lift for a refreshing swim.
Camaria is perfect for 4 (four) persons, ideally 1-2 couples or a small family. It can be neatly “divided” into two independent units e.g. for the night, thus providing additional privacy.
The penthouse is naturally fitted with air conditioning and is having Wi-Fi connection options, one for the common area free of charge and an in-house secured.
Additionally Camaria also offers the following:
Spanish digital television with many bilingual channel selections, Bose media player loudspeakers, dishwasher, a washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, oven, high quality dinner- and tableware to mention a few. Your shopping's can be dropped in the garage and easily taken by lift to the front door of the penthouse.
Though sunshine is what most of us is looking for it's not to be forgotten that one of the most amazing things about the sunny Costa Tropical area is that it's only 45 minutes south of one of the best ski resorts in Spain. People often describe this area as unique because you can drive to the slopes in the morning, ski all day and then be back to the sunny and warm Mediterranean coast.

The Andalucia region
This strip of coastline is special. Together with approximately 320 days of sunshine yearly and an average temperature of 20ºC, a healthy subtropical micro climate.
Geographically located close to Africa and as well as the Sierra Nevada, it is protected from cold northerly winds and results in a unique climate zone.
Its climate varies greatly from a more tolerable range along the coast (about 10º - 20º cooler in summer, 10º-20º warmer in winter) to more severe summers and winters elsewhere.
Costa Tropical is situated between the better known Costa del Sol of the Malaga province and the Costa de Almería.
Its terrain is varied: from softly rounded seaside roads to rugged mountainous hills. The views can be romantic and peaceful as the sun sets on the sea, or splendidly exhilarating from atop a mountain village.
There is an unusual gravitational pull in this area and seems to draw people here.
On the waterfront portion of the town, the rich marine life, relatively calm waters and 2 km. long beach front are attractive to scuba divers, swimmers, boaters, sun seekers, and hang gliders – and on occasion, wind-and wave -surfers as well. If you are looking for adventure you have found it here. La Herradura is loaded with sporting activities.
There are also nearby wonderful hiking trails, biking around the hillsides and panoramic views of the coastline.
The combination of its micro-climate, tropical vegetation (mango, papaya, and avocado etc. fruits), geographical and topographical aspects, and its rich, multi-cultural history make the Costa Tropical one of the most interesting areas of Spain, and of Andalucía in particular. And unlike the better known Costa del Sol where the 21st century has already arrived, the Costa Tropical is still very Spanish, and yes, still living in the 20th century. Once you have visited this part of the world, you will probably be back again and maybe stay for good like so many others have already.

"Beautiful apartment in a delightful area"
We loved the penthouse - it is attractively furnished and very well equipped. A particular feature is the extensive terrace with areas for sitting and eating and excellent sea views. Although staying in a high season, we found the shared pool quiet with plenty of room for all on the sun beds. The area is quiet but with a good variety of restaurants to choose from down in the town and is a good base to explore Granada, Malaga and other local towns and sights so there is plenty to for those wanting more than simply relaxing by the pool.
As advised a car is really necessary when staying in the Penthouse as it is a fair distance from La Herradura but although parking is not allowed in the underground garage, there is no problem parking on the road next to the apartment block.
Bookers should be aware that there is an extra charge for cleaning which is payable on arrival and use of the aircon will also incur an extra charge payable at the end of the holiday.
