Mirador de la Bahia is a new building of only 8 apartments all built to a very high spec. Apartment Bajo B is situated on the ground floor with its own private entrance, (no hallways or shared areas). The apartment is fully equipped to a high standard with everything needed for a relaxing well catered for holiday. The apartment is located in the heart of the whitewashed village with shops, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The beach and paseo are only 300mtrs walk from the apartment (approx 5 mins).

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The Costa Tropical is the lesser known area between the Costa Del Sol and the Costa Almeria. It is the nearest coastal area to Granada and hence its name has a wonderful micro climate enabling tropical fruit and sugar cane to be grown in this region. The largest town in this area is Almunecar, this along with its main commercial centre offers a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants along with a large weekly market (Fri) selling everything from clothes, gifts, CD's and local produce. The seafront at Almunecar is large and clean with attactions such as a small water park and a bird sanctury containing a variety of rare and exotic species. Almunecar can be reached by bus from Herradura and is approx a 7 minute driveby car or taxi. The City of Granada is about 1 hours drive from Herradura with its magical architecture and the stunning Alhambra Palace, well worth a visit. Along the coast in the opposite direction is the resort of Nerja (Costa del Sol). This is a bustling holiday resort popular with holiday makers but still retains its Spanish charm. The beach area of Burriana offers bars, restaurants and watersports and is also worth a visit. If you are after a more energetic holiday, the ski resort of Sierra Nevada can be reached in approx 1.2hrs. The mornings can be spent speeding down the slopes followed by a leisurely afternoon back at Herradura soaking up the sun on the beach!.
La Herradura / Pueblo area
La Herradura (the horseshoe) is a beautiful sheltered bay with the headlands of Cerro Gordo and Punta de la Mona protecting it from the Morrocan winds so producing a warm calm sea safe for bathing. Although relatively untouched by mass tourism there are still plenty of facilities to make for a relaxing holiday. The beachfront contains the main selection of restaurants and bars including traditional Tapas to the more high class international establishments. There is a newly refurbished public swimming pool on the front which is open daily throughout the summer along with a variety of watersports available on the beach itself. Sitting in one of the Chiringuitos on the beach is a wonderful way to while away the afternoon whilst enjoying the free tapas offered with every drink. The apartment is located close to the prestigious Marina Del Este, this beautiful marina houses an array of luxury yachts and sailing boats. Along the waterfront are restaurants and cafes which offer anything from just drinks to fantastic A la Carte dining.
