Les Belles Lurettes offers a country retreat away from the madding crowd but with easy access to the buzz of St Tropez bay.
Situated just outside the medieval village of La Garde Freinet, with its eclectic choice of restaurants, bars and shops and twice weekly markets.
The property sleeps 8 and is built on two levels with a private driveway and ample parking, surrounded by woodland and lawned gardens with wonderful views over Les Massif des Maures.
Facing south and looking out across the valley to wooded mountains, the main house has a master bedroom with a covered veranda opening on to the garden, an en-suite bathroom and small walk-through dressing area. A second double and a twin bedded room share a shower room and separate guest loo. An ancient stone building on the pool terrace houses the separate guest bedroom with en-suite shower room. All bedrooms open onto the terraces or garden.
The living area is spacious and open-plan. The sitting area has 3 comfortable couches, open fireplace, TV/DVD, Stereo and has a good collection of board games, books, DVDs and CDs plus wifi Broadband. The dining area has a locally made square oak table and matching 8 chairs and can seat up to 12. The kitchen area has traditional wooden cupboards and tiled surfaces, a double sink, halogen hotplate, microwave and fan oven plus dishwasher and fridge freezer. Crockery, cutlery and glassware for 12 are provided. A washing machine and a second fridge freezer are located in an outbuilding attached to the house.

La Garde Freinet, surrounded by cork and chestnut forests, retains its medieval atmosphere with a maze of narrow streets, stone and shuttered buildings, an art gallery, bars, restaurants, antique, clothes and food shops including wonderful butchers and bakeries and the all essential superb wine shop. La Garde Freinet is equi distant between the A8 auto route inland and St Tropez on the coast, less than 30 mins to both. Les Belles Lurettes is 6 minutes drive from the village. Whether you enjoy water sports or mountain trails, bird watching or people watching, or simply lazing by the pool with a good book after a long lazy shady lunch on the lawn, there is something for everyone of all ages and stages.

Further details indoors: Our house managers look after guests on arrival, organise a few welcome goodies, provide a weekly linen change, and clean. The pool is maintained twice weekly during the season and the gardens weekly; there is an automatic watering system which operates at night in the lawned areas of the garden.
Les Belles Lurettes is a well equipped well furnished and much loved holiday home with good attention to detail such as hairdryers, table tennis, badminton, outside dining and cooking facilities and plenty of sunloungers, pool toys etc. Good quality bed linen, bath and beach towels are provided. The pool is 10x5m,(tbc) heated by a chaleur to an average temperature of 28 degree and covered with an electric safety cover. There is centralheating and heated towel rails in each of the bathrooms.
