This eight bedroom, 19th century Chateau de Talent, was sumptuously renovated in 2004 and combines an exotic blend of elegant French architecture with marble fireplaces, gilt cornices, and lavish drapes. It is richly decorated with specially commissioned Oriental furnishings. 16-20 persons can be accommodated comfortably in its luxury bedrooms (most with en-suite spa bathrooms or multi-jet shower rooms). An additional 8-12 can be accommodated in two chalets that sit next to each other in the grounds, just a few metres from the Chateau de Talent. Guests have exclusive use of the large elegant dining salon, the large karaoke home cinema room with 130cm satellite TV, DVD, VCR and Bar.

Other facilities include the games room with American billiard table, table-football, pinball machine, Nintendo console and various board games. The cellar rooms are fitted out with a disco, an additional living room, a fitness area and even a wine bar. Outside is the 9x4m heated swimming pool, a six person Jacuzzi, a three person Sauna and a 9-hole miniature golf course. Other on site activities include: Boules court, children's playground, swings and slide, sand pit, tower with slide, climbing wall and ropes, volleyball, badminton, children's play house and 15 bicycles (ATB adult + children cycles).

The Chateau is conveniently located at the entrance to the town of La Fére (2900 inhabitants), where you will find a host of shops and services nearby to help with self catering supplies, e.g. a bakery 200 metres away and a supermarket 400 metres away. We are situated in northern France, 70 miles north of Paris, and 120 miles south of the Calais channel tunnel.

The Chateau de Talent itself has eight bedrooms (all doubles). In addition there are 10 camp beds that can be used in any of the bedrooms for children or teenagers. Two chalets in the grounds offer an extra four bedrooms and two bunk-bed areas for children. The entire property is rented out in exclusivity for groups of 24-36 depending on the number of adults and children.

Chateau de Talent: The recently renovated chateau, with its three storeys and 1000 square metres of floor space, has everything to make your stay an unforgettable experience: Elegant french architecture; oriental furnishing; chandeliers; teak floors; gilt ceilings; spa baths; modern kitchen; superb swimming pool; cycles; and parkland with sports game facilities.

Alpine chalets: The two newly-built alpine chalets in the park can are rented in conjunction with the chateau. Each sleeps up to eight people and has a fully fitted kitchen for self catering. Each one consists of the following:

- Large open-plan day room with kitchenette (with refrigerator, freezer, range, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, extractor fan, sink, dishes and full set of kitchen utensils).
- A living area with settee and two leather armchairs, TV, DVD player, mini stereo system.
- A sleeping area with two bunk beds, storage beneath the stairs, wooden table and chairs.
- Two bedrooms with double beds, chest of drawers and desks.
- Bathroom with multi-jet shower and wash-basin.
- Separate WC room.
- Landing with small double sleeping sofa for two people.
- Outside is a timber patio with seating, table, and private barbeque facilities.

- Security deposit: €700. This is paid on arrival and will be refunded in full after departure (10 days maximum) subject to damage inspection.
- Linen & towels: All linen and bath towels are included in the rental price.
- Energy costs: Included in the rental price.
- End of stay cleaning: Included. Please leave the property in the state that you found it.
- Arrival time: 4pm onwards.
- Departure time: 10am.
- Pets: 2 pets allowed.
