These two nicely renovated properties come all inclusive of bedding and towel service and are attractive character homes with exposed beams and open fireplace.The Farm house has double glazing and full central heating for out of season holiday or longer let periods.
Located in a small hamlet overlooking and close to the rural village of Le Chapelle aux Lys with its local facilities, in the lovely rolling countryside of the Vendee close to the Deux - Sevres border with distant views over fields and woods.
It is a tranquil environment but easy to find, an ideal location for walking, cycling, fishing and day trips to enjoy the great outdoors, visiting the many local attractions such as historic village of Vouvant and the adjacent Mervent forest, the Puy du Fou, and for keen fishermen the Pescalis complex, or for exploring the nearby west coast beaches.
The nearby town of Chataigneraie offers supermarkets, banks, bars and restaurants, hairdressers and nomal compliment of shops.

La Chataigneraie / La Chapelle Aux Lys area
The lovely Mervant and Vouvant area is within ten minutes drive. The Mervant forest is a haven for walkers and nature lovers and interesting features, many hidden away. A man made beach with cafe and picnic tables offers the chance to lake swim in beautiful surroundings.
For keen fisherman "Pescalis" one of the premier fishing complexes in Europe is ten minutes drive with the famous "Puy de Fou" historical park and the "Venise Verte" under 45 minutes drive away .
There are many attractions to explore: Chateux, churches, forests, boating, horse riding, bicycling and several weekly markets. There really is something for all the family, and if you do not fancy driving just relax by the pool with a glass of local wine.

The house will be professionally cleaned between lets. All bedding and towels changed at the start of each let period and the cost is included in the rental. English speaking local contact at changeover on hand to answer any questions. We prefer Saturday changeovers, however will consider different days for longer lets of more than two weeks depending on time of year, please contact us to discuss your specific needs.
There is a no smoking policy within the house.
Conditions
25% Non refundable deposit required at time of booking. Full payment is required six weeks prior to commencement of letting . A re-fundable breakage deposit of £ 100.00 will be required with the final payment, this will be returned within 2 weeks of departure (subject to a satisfactory inspection)
