"Fantasic house - superb holiday!"
I would highly recommend a holiday here - although by doing that it might get booked up and we wouldn't be able to go again! The house is very well equipped and the garden is huge - the photos don't do either justice! It is in a small hamlet but is very peaceful. The boulanger arrives most mornings with a toot of the horn. He chats to the lady opposite which gives you just enough time to find the front door key and the euro and its fresh baguettes for breakfast! We enjoyed lots of plums (the sweetest we have ever tasted) and pears from the trees in the garden - so late July early August for those! Apricots (I think!) hadn't rippened when we left. The area is wonderful - L'Absie itself is very pretty (ville fleurie) and has a fantastic deli. This is somewhere we would love to return to.
