The house has a large entrance hall/cloakroom, with a fully equipped kitchen diner off of this. There is a utility room with fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and auxiliary sink, leading from this is the ground floor bathroom, with shower over the bath.
The lounge is fitted with a large wood burner, 3 quality sofas and armchairs one of the sofas is a double fold down bed, satellite TV, Hi Fi and has French doors leading out on to the extensive covered terrace and gardens. Off of this is the large master bedroom with en-suite shower room and this also has French doors leading out onto the terracing. The first floor has 2 twin bedded rooms, 2 double,1 fitted with vanity unit and another twin with en-suite shower room and additional single bed . There is a children's bedroom fitted with bunk beds .
The 1st floor bathroom has a shower over the bath.

The Hot tub & swimming pool both have large decked surrounds, the pool is solar heated. The garden is well stocked and there is a lawend area for ball games
Conditions
Electricity is charged at 10 cents/ pence per kW used the meter being read before and after your stay. Gas central heating is charged if required at £80 per week.
Arrival time is not before 4pm. please do not arrive any earlier as the house will not be ready for you. Final day departure is 10am. Please leave the house as clean and tidy on departure as on arrival, if you wish we could arrange for the house to be cleaned at a cost of £140. If the house is not left in the same condition as arrival this amount may be deducted from the damage deposit. If you will be arriving later than 8pm please telephone to let us know so a key holder can be available.
The Loire Valley / Indre-et-Loire region


There is a large choice of restaurants in the area ranging from the in expensive 12€ for a 4 course lunch including wine to the Michelin starred Le Promenade at Petite Pressigny which is 20 min away and everything in between.
•Châteaux - This is an excellent area for châteaux, there are several local to the immediate area as well as the more famous including Chinon, Loches, Amboise, Azay le Rideau, Chenonceau, Villandry, Langeais, Blois, Chambord, Rigny Ussy (the inspiration for 'Sleeping Beauty'), Valencay and Montresor. Some châteaux also perform Son et Lumiere shows during certain evenings of the holiday season.
•Tours - Tours, the Touraine capital city, is full of history and art and the old town boasts cobbled streets and charming medieval buildings. For those of you who like to shop, the new part of the city has plenty of choice. It also has an interesting old quarter full of pavement restaurants. Even a day visit to Paris is possible as it is only 55 minutes. For wine lovers there is a large choice of producers all nearby including Chinon, Vouvrey, Saint Nicholas de Bourguiel, Saumur.
There is a choice of local street markets virtually everyday of the week Loches, Descartes and St Maure de Tourraine all being excellent.
The La Chappelle Blanche St Martin / La Chaise area
La Chapelle Blanche St Martin has an excellent Boulangerie/Epicerie as well as a Bar/Tabac/Post Office/Restaurant. There are lots of Brocantes and fetes held in the area all year and the locals are extremely friendly and welcoming. There are also plenty of marked up walks and cycle tours to explore.

Lovely farmhouse in a great setting. We travelled as a family group which included children and Grandparents. The accommodation had everything we could have wanted the hot tub and pool were great to relax in and everyone enjoyed the swimming pool. Garth was very helpful. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back.

We spent a very comfortable week at this lovely farmhouse. It is in the middle of farmland so really is a get away from it all. The facilities in the house were good with a large well equipped kitchen, a lounge with comfy sofas, 4 good sized bedrooms, a great pool, jacuzzi, pretty garden and plenty of outdoor seating.
This property would be ideal for a family with children or as we were a group of friends looking for a relaxing week in France!

A ruby anniversary & a 65th birthday had to be celebrated somewhere special. Where better than Les Aubepines?
The house, garden, pool & hot tub are all of the highest quality, as are the furnishings and equipment. Our host Garth was always on hand if needed & was able to give good advice on all those little things to make a holiday go without a hitch.
The property is surrounded by scenic rural countryside & the neighbours are just as charming. The photographs on the website are great, so what a pleasant surprise to find that in the "flesh" the facilities were even better.
This is the place to really unwind & relax, but if you want there are many interesting places to explore in the area.
This is a holiday destination to be thoroughly recommended.
