About the home

The Villa is well furnished and equipped with large terraces and a private pool. Located in a small quaint village close to the sea - it offers the perfect holiday retreat for a family or a couple. Boasting a spacious lounge which leads to an open air patio and the kitchen. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor one has its own en-suite bathroom - and there is also a separate shower room . Upstairs is a separate double bedroom which leads to a large sun terrace with nice sea views.. and a shower room

The Tenerife region

La Caleta is an up and coming resort, which is on the fashionable Costa Adeje coast. Just 20 minutes from the airport and a 3 minute drive from the profesional Adeje Golf Course and prestigious Hotel Bahia El Duque. La Caleta has a selection of charming restaurants and shops and yet, is only 10 minutes from the busier resorts of Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos.
At the beginning of December 2008 our "local beach" was completed which is at the edge of the village - Although it doesn,t have white sand it it certainly a nice beach...and only a 5 minute walk from the villa !

The La Caleta area

From La Caleta it is possible to walk along the coastline - all the way to Los Cristianos. Passing Fañabe where there is a lovely stretch of white beach and shops, the marina of Puerto Colon, arriving at Playa Americas and finally getting to the harbour and beach of Los Cristianos. For those that prefer, there is also a very good bus service all along this coastline direct from La Caleta !

Up the road is the local village of Adeje, where there are several local restaurants, shops and often different "fiestas" being celebrated.

Just 5 kilometres from Playa de las Americas, Golf Costa Adeje was created with the ambition of becoming the most important leisure development in the Canary Islands. This excellent 27 hole of course opened in 1998 and has rapidly become one the most popular courses in Tenerife. The views from the course take in the island of La Gomera, the mountain range of Adeje, Playa de la Americas and the sea.

“Lovely villa, excellent location, very peaceful but close to local amenities” Villa located very close to local restaurants, but also convenient for local shops. Nearby beach mainly pebbles/shingle, but great for snorkelling. Only 15-20 minutes drive to Playa Las Americas, great place to go, will visit again.
