Fleur de Lys is a 2-storey villa, measuring 80 m² and can accommodate 6 to 8 people. The living room has a fireplace and a sofa bed for 2 people(or a sofa bed and 2 extra single beds), and 3 bedrooms, each with either a double bed or 2 single beds. There is 1 bathroom with a bath, 1 shower room, and separate toilets. The kitchen is well equipped with 4 hot plates, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge, crockery and cutlery for 8 people. The villa has a open garden area with garden furniture. The villa has its own parking space. The villa is set in the residence les Fleurs de Lys which offers good quality accommodation, set in a cluster of villas and apartments in a spacious 8 acre park, on the edge of the prestigious La Baule St Andre golf course. There is a heated, shared pool (measuring 180m²) open from May/June to September (precise dates depend on weather) and the villas are only 7 km to the beach of La Baule which is over 9 kilometres long and generally agreed to be the « best beach in Europe ». Casino, Spa treatments and great shopping are just a few of La Baule's many other attractions. Between 26/6 and 28/8/10 there is a free children's club 3 half days a week for children aged 4 - 12 yrs. Free activities/ sports tournaments for adults / teenagers 2 half days per week (dates as children's club) Mini golf, table tennis, volleyball, badminton, boules ground and children's trampolines.

The Brittany / Loire Atlantique region
On the Guerande peninsula, on the south coast of Brittany, La Baule boasts a pleasantly warm climate all year round. La Baule is regarded as one of the most chic resorts of France like Cannes or Deauville and has some beautiful shops - however near to these villas it also has lovely well preserved nature parks and protected bird sanctuaries away from the bustle of town. For non-golfers Fleurs de Lys makes an excellent base from which to explore the region. The famous medieval walled city of Guerande is just 5km away, St Nazaire with its naval dockyards is 12km away, there are barge trips in the bird sanctuary of the Grande Briere Natural Park (17km), Kerhinet village with its thatch museum, picturesque little fishing ports like Le Croisic, la Turballe or Le Pouliguen, not forgetting the excellent local beaches. Food lovers will enjoy gastronomy, seafood and fine wines from the Pays de Loire region.
La Baule area
Fleurs de Lys Residence is at about 5 km from the town of La Baule which is in the centre of the bay, with its luxury boutiques, welcoming restaurants and wonderful villas. At the end of the promenade, the fishing village of Le Pouliguen offers an unforgettable view across the bay ! Water enthusiasts and those who like beach-based activities (sailing, sand yachting water skiing, jet skiing, deep sea diving), will appreciate the exceptional quality of the beach of La Baule. Tennis, horse riding, cycling and of course golf are also part of the activities of the area as well as Thalassotherapy and do not forget the Casino.
How to get there
British Airways have regular flights into Nantes from London. Ryanair fly from Stansted, East Midlands, Shannon and Dublin to Nantes. Aer Arann fly from Bristol Cardiff and Cork to Nantes. By ferry St Malo is the closest port with Brittany Ferries sailings from Portsmouth.

Further details indoors: There is a reception office which is open Monday - Saturday from 5pm - 8pm. Sheets, pillowcases and towels are not included in the price of the rental. If you wish to hire linen, this can be done through us or at reception which is on site. The cost for hiring bed linen is 8 euros per person per change. Towel sets (1 bath, 1 hand towel) can be hired for 6 Euros per set and per week. You may also hire a cot for 29 Euros per week. A high chair costs 15 Euros per week. Please note that baby items must be prebooked well in advance. TV can be hired (french channels) for 35 euros per week. There is a delivery service of breads, croissants and pastries on-site for you. This can be ordered through reception. You can inform us of any additional services you would like for your holiday. And we will pass this information on to reception. All additional services ordered or requested from reception must be paid for at the residence’s reception upon arrival. There is a shared laundry (only one washer and one dryer) in the reception building. Electricity and water charges are included in the price.
Further details outdoors: The villa is situated by the 12th and 13th holes and close to the swimming pool. The clubhouse and pro-shop are a short drive away. There are 36 + 9 holes to play at St Andre as well as a practice range and our guests benefit from reduced price green fees both here and at other local golf courses. Swimming pool opening dates can be weather dependent but tend to be from May/June - September. A FREE children's club for children aged between 4 to 12 is managed by reception, from 26/06 to 28/08/2010, and usually runs from Monday to Friday, every morning or afternoon (4 hour sessions, the ideal time for parents to partake in some golf whilst the children are playing games and sports).

BOOKING FEE: A non-refundable booking fee of 25 euros is charged. Many special offers available, please ask for more details. TAXE DE SEJOUR , a tourist tax imposed by the local commune, is payable at reception and can vary in amount :guide price 0.64 Euros per day per person . SECURITY AND CLEANING DEPOSIT: A security deposit of 260 Euros is payable on arrival, normally by credit card, but cash or a French cheque is also accepted. You can request a cleaning service during your stay. For a daily cleaning service, the cost is 29 Euros. If you wish to have just a mid-stay clean, the cost is 39 Euros. You can also ask for a final Cleaning service for the end of your stay. The cost for this service is up to 140 Euros. Animals are permitted in the residence at an extra cost of 5 Euros per day or 30 Euros per week.
