The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Hautes-Alpes region
Beautiful, open and serene, the Hautes Alpes are a favorite destination for holiday makers from all over the world. The closest ski resort, Superdevoluy, is situated just 35 minutes away and is linked to La Joue du Loup to offer a fantastic ski area for mountain sports enthusiasts. Although relatively small and relaxed, it is purposely built to offer visitors the most convenient ski break they could wish for. From Superdevoluy, skiers can access 100 kilometres of groomed pistes, linked by 25 ski lifts, and ranging from 1500 to 2500 metres in altitude.
The La Batie Montsaleon area
La Batie Montsaléon is a little village located along the mountain range of the Alps. The Hautes Alpes of France are well loved and visited all year round. Although it is still most popular for its ski slopes, the area is also visited for many other activities, such as rafting and other water sports, hiking and exploration, cycling, and even aerial activities such as parachuting or going up in a hot air balloon.
