Home description

5 double bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, as well as two additional family bathrooms. All upstairs bedrooms with air conditioning. The large master bedroom has its own shower-room and roof terrace.
In the main lounge there are large leather settees and a 40-inch TV (with Sky), and doors open out onto the side and rear of the property. The dining-room comfortably seats six people, and can be extended for ten, and garden furniture is also an option for al fresco dining. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped.

Stepping out to the rear of the property there is a large raised terrace comprising a further seating area with sun loungers, and an under-cover dining area for warm evenings, and large gas barbecue. 10m x 6m saltwater swimming pool. Putting green and enclosed driving range.

All in all every effort has been made to ensure a comfortable stay for visitors of all ages in this large, fully equipped property just 200 yards from the beach.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

This welcoming beach villa is situated between the historic city of Cartagena and the fishing port of Mazarrón, just a 50-minute drive from San Javier airport.

Historically the area is a fascinating blend of Carthaginian, Phoenician, Greek, Roman, Moorish and European influences, and the city of Cartagena is just a 20-minute drive away. The landscape offers great opportunities for cyclists and walkers, with the mountains of Sierra Espuña and a host of welcoming towns just a short trip inland. The area is a popular destination for beach-lovers, but the whole region (and the capital city) of Murcia deserves exploring and the climate and local cuisine make it an attractive destination all year round.


La Azohia area

The village itself is small, but during the summer there are many beach bars and a local supermarket to meet your everyday shopping needs, while larger supermarkets are 15 minutes away. For more nightlife the Port of Mazarrón is only 6 miles along the coast. The beach itself is only a 200-yard walk, and within a short distance there are small coves, sandy or stony beaches, deeper or shallower water, to suit all bathers. The bay is well-known for the clarity of the water, and as a result there are various scuba-diving schools in the village.

Murcia San Javier airport is just 45 minutes away by car, and Alicante 90 minutes. All budget airlines fly to these destinations, and pickup can be arranged although car hire is an easy and advisable option.

The library is well stocked with a wide range of reading material, and internet connection can be supplied for those guests who wish to bring a laptop.

Stepping out to the rear of the property there is a large raised terrace comprising a further seating area with sun loungers, and an under-cover dining area for warm evenings, as well as a large gas barbecue. All this overlooks the 10m x 6m saltwater swimming pool. Fruit trees separate the pool from the putting green and enclosed driving range – keen golfers can choose from up to ten courses within an hour’s drive! By night the whole rear garden can be lit up, so swimming, dining and putting practice can go on well after sunset…
The property benefits from solar paneling to heat all kitchen and bathroom water.

The villa is closed off to the front by electric gates, and there is ample parking space.
