Home description

Warm apartment with spectacular views over the sea. Only two seconds walking to the beach. Very close to all the amenities needed. Ideal for golfers, families, scuba diving, cycling, water/river sports, couples, and any other activities, gastronomy and culture. Ideal for riding a bicycle to reach everywhere.

L'Estarit has activities for all. It is ideal for golf players where the closest one is only 7 km in Torroella Montgri (Empordà Golf). There is also have a nice harbour to walk around... and a wide variety of restaurants. For sports you can go to the river for canoeing, and the sea for surfing, windsurfing. Other sports such as horse riding, light flights, quads, ski diving. For children there is a water park (Acuadiver) in Platja d'Aro only 30 km.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

There are lots of cultural and important places to visit such as: Dali Museum only 30 km driving (Figueres), Roman Ruins of Empuries (Castello d'Empuries).

You can also spend a day in Barcelona which is about 130 km to visit Sagrada Familia, Les Rambles, La Pedrera House, Parc Güell, Gaudi Houses, Camp Nou (Barça Sadium)... It is a nice visit to Pals and other Medieval towns such as Peretallada, Begur.

Nice fishermen villages are Cadaqués (Dali Home), Llafranch (with typical live songs sung on the beach in July - "Havaneres")... Girona city with the most famous Jewish town, the Wall, its Cathedral is only 35 km. There is a nice volcanic area to visit in la Garrotxa-Olot and Banyoles town with a beautiful lake.

Costa Brava has a very well known gastronomy such as "arros negre" (black sepia rice), snails with a very tasty sauce, very good seafood in Palamós, and many other little towns where serve traditional Mediterranean cuisine. In the summer (June to September) it is normally hot around 30-35 ºC

L'Estartit / Els Griells area

L'Estarit has everything: relax and activities for all with nice nightlife too! It is ideal for golf players where the closest one is only 7 km in Torroella Montgri (Empordà Golf). Les Illes Medes is a protected natural area with infinity and variety of fishes (all colors and shapes), you have glass bottom boats excursions where you can see all life under the sea. You also have a nice harbour to walk around... and a wide variety of restaurants. There is free WIFI access all along the beach sidewalk.

Sarfa bus goes from Girona Airport (Ryanair) and Barcelona Airport (other airlines)

By Car (Car hire from the airport (Avis, Europcar):
From Girona airport, take road National II towards Girona-Figueres-Torroella de Montgri-l'Estartit
From Barcelona take Highway AP-7 towards Girona, take exit "Girona North" towards Torroella Montgri-l'Estartit
From France, take Highway AP-7 towards Figueres and then take National II (road) towards Torroella Montgri-l'Estartit
