The apartment is situated on the third level of the luxury complex Illa Mar D´Or. The photographs of the private garden area with swimming pools, which appears underneath, gives an idea of the high standard of this complex. The apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a balcony / terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, in a surface area of 54 m2.
L’Estartit –which you have probably heard of – is a well-known tourist township that harmoniously combines the rustic atmosphere of a fishing village with the modernity of a tourist resort of the highest quality. From l’Estartit to the south there is a wide beach more than 5 kms long, and to the north there are spectacular cliffs and sheltered coves. Special mention should be made of the Medas Islands, situated 1 mile from the coast and which are well known as a diving area of international prestige.
There are four excellent golf courses within an area 15-30 minutes by car, there are also Light Flight and Horse Riding centres at 1.5 km. From the harbour there are many interesting seafaring trips also on offer.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
Catalonia is a region in the northeast of Spain, bordered by France on the other side of the Pyrenees. It is in the farthest point to the east of the Iberian Peninsula. In the most northern part of this region is the Costa Brava, which extends up to the frontier with France.
It is a coast of incomparable beauty dotted with long beaches and hidden coves. For this reason, it has traditionally been a select holiday area for families resident in Barcelona, Girona and the South of France and over the last decade it has been one of the preferred Mediterranean destinations for tourists from all over Europe.
This area has a marked personality as shown by its gastronomy, culture, local fiestas and traditions. On the sporting side, apart from the activities that have to do directly with the sea, there are also a great many golf courses. In the nearby mountains of the Pyrenees there are many ski stations for the practising of winter sports.
Sunny days predominate throughout the year and on the coast the climate is mild; it is unusual for the temperature to reach zero degrees centigrade in the coldest months of the winter.
L'Estartit area
Within the Costa Brava area, l’Estartit represents a unique and attractive choice, which is confirmed by the tourists who take their holidays here and return year after year. L’Estartit is a small urban township with tourism its main industry. This thus ensures the availability of all the services related to this activity, for children, adults, elderly people or the disabled.
Single-family homes predominate, with architecture typical of the area, and many villas occupied by Catalan tourists who come at the weekend or during the summer holidays. There are no high-rise buildings. For this reason even in the summer months there is a lively atmosphere but it is not noisy.
The Medas Islands, situated a mile from the coast are in a protected area of high interest due to the rich and abundant underwater flora and fauna as well as its natural beauty. Its international renown as a diving area results in a constant influx of tourists from many different countries.
Down the coast to the south there is a sandy wide beach more than 5 kms long, and to the north cliffs and sheltered coves.
Within 15 to 30 minutes by car there are 4 excellent golf courses that are open all year round. In addition there are Light Flight and horse riding centres at 1.5 km
Girona (Jewish area), Figueras (Dalí museum), St. Martí d’Empuries, (Greek and Roman ruins), Ullastret (Iberian settlement), Pals (old town) are nearby points of cultural interest.
The owners, who know the area for more than 40 years and usually reside in L’Estartit, will be happy to give you any more information during your stay.
