The Costa Brava/Catalonia/Barcelona region
To visit the Costa Brava and stay at one of our tourist apartments is a way to travel back in time, to learn and feel in your own skin what brought people from foreign lands, more than 2500 years ago, to fall in love with this place, where the tranquility of a small inhospitable cove coexists with the noise made by raging sea waves hitting against the cliffs, and where nowadays the hustle and bustle of the beaches contrast with the serenity of its many beautiful golf courses.
To visit the Costa Brava also means walking with your family through Medieval towns such as Pals, Peretallada, or Púbol among others, and discovering the beauty of the pine forests which seem to be hugging the sea out from steep cliffs from where you can also discover small coves where time seems to stand still.
Ultimately, it means letting yourself go with similar feelings to those that have led geniuses like Salvador Dali or Ferran Adrià to carry out their work, altogether unique, in their beloved land; the Costa Brava.
Located in the central area of beaches on the Costa Brava, ranging from the perfectly preserved ecosystem of the natural park of the Medes Islands which is a divers paradise with more than 50 dive centres nearby, to the beautiful sandly beaches and coastal towns of L'Estartit, Sa Punta, Aiguafreda, Sa Tuna, Begur, Fornells, Aiguablava, Tamariu, Calella de Palafrugell and Llafranc.
The villages in the interior of the area – Pals, Montras, Regencós i Palagrugell will satisfy anyone wishing to visit medieval buildings.
The ancient hilltop village of Pals has been substantially restored to maintain all of it's Gothic charm and from the Josep Pla viewpoint, visitors have uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside including the wonderful farms – MASÍAS – which dot the landscape with valuable buildings dating back to the feudal times which define the character of the regions inhabitants from the fifteenth century on.
From here, you can also see the Empordà and the Medes Islands.
