About the home

Mestral is a new building situated in the centre of L'Escala, some 350 m. from the beach. They are modern apartments with an approximate measure of 60 m2, to sleep 4/6 persons. It has two bedrooms, complete bathroom, living-dining area with a bed-setee, separate kitchen with a glass ceramic cooktop, oven, washing machine / dryer, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. All of the apartments have a television and air conditioned. Swimming pool on the roof-top and one parking space per apartment.

The apartment is furnished, equipped and delivered in clean and perfect conditions.
The indicated prices include the use of water, electricity and gas. The bed-linen and weekly change are also included.

The apartments may be occupied after 17 h. of the day of arrival and must be left before 10 h. of the day of departure.

Reservations may be made by post, fax, E-mail or telephone, with the assurance that all enquiries will be attended to immediately by the staff in any one of our offices.
In order to confirm your booking, 40% of the total rental fee must be paid in respect of deposit or part payment. All reservations will be considered provisional until the relevant deposit is settled.
The remaining balance must be paid on arrival, when the keys to the property are collected. Otherwise, the booking will be cancelled.

Damage deposit
The amount of 200 € or the equivalent in foreign currency is payable on arrival in respect o damage deposit, refundable at the end of your stay once the property has been checked by the agency staff.
Another possibility is to give us a credit card number as a deposit.

Cancellations
The cancellation fees are applied to the reservation deposit and are as follow:
5% should the cancellation be made prior to 30 days before the client's arrival (minimum charge: 25 €).
50% should the cancellation be made less than 30 days before the day of arrival.
100% if the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the day of arrival.

The property will not be reserved for more than 48 hours after the expected day of arrival, unless the delay has been expressly notified beforehand, with the understanding that this will not produce any reduction on the stipulated rental fee.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region

Costa Brava is one of the main tourist centres of the Mediterranean area with a well-known international prestige, thanks to its wonderful natural surroundings and the quality of its beaches, as well as its historical and cultural patrimony and the very nature of its inhabitants.
The towns situated on the shore of the Costa Brava hve the faculty of combining the small fishing zones protected from the wind with leafy forests which arrive to the sea and cliffs and enormous and not very deep beaches with tranparent water.

The L'Escala area

L'Escala is a marine town, on the Empordà coast, in the south of the Bay of Roses. The coast extends from so-called "grauet d'Empúries" (previously the bed of the river Fluvià) in the north, to the Montgó headland in the south. L'Escala has a great variety of landscapes and settlements: modern nuclei near the sea, the old town itselt, the medieval village of St. Martí d'Empúries and other small rural or fortified hamlets such as Cinc Claus, Les Corts, Vilanera and Els Recs.

L'Escala is easily reached on the N-II or the A-7 motorway, and amongst other attractions it offers sandy beaches with shallow water, as well as a wide range of free-time activities, cultural possibilities, folklore, adventure and sport.
