The property is on two levels with lounge, kitchen , W.C and utility room on the ground floor. Three bedrooms on the first floor with large bathroom en suite with shower and second shower room with W.C. Two bedrooms have a balcony overlooking pool with wonderful sea views. Patio doors from dining area to large terraced area with garden and swimming pool. Upper garden with terrace behind the villa. Large Garage.
The property is not ideal for very young children due to depth of pool and also property is on an incline with access by steps and also to rear garden.
The lovely old town of L'Escala is about a l0 minute drive. Comprehensive marina 2km away. Choice of golf courses within 20 - 30 minute radius. Ski resorts approximately 1hr 45 minutes. Ski in the morning and ski jet in the afternoon! The area is steeped in history with the famous Greco-roman ruins on the edge of L'Escala one of many settlements and hamlets. Gerona with its low cost airport is just 35 minutes drive and Barcelona about an hour and a half. Just 40 minutes to the French border. A stunning coastline and wonderful food!

A very light, modern villa with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful sea views from the balconies of the two front bedrooms. Air conditioning.
The company who manage the house can provide linen and towels at a nominal charge and also assist with car hire if needed. They have extensive knowledge of the area.

Kidney shaped swimming pool and large sun bathing area. 6 sunbeds. A good choice of outdoor games found in utility room, including adult size Jenga.. Garden area for shade, quietness and reading by the lemon tree. Alternatively the higher garden behind the villa is ideal for relaxing, with a stunning 180 degree view of the bay and beach. Blue sunbed towels available and would ask if they can be used as covering over sun beds.

aLL BOOKINGS are Saturday to Saturday. To reserve the management company in L'Escala will require 25%
on booking and 8 weeks prior to arrival a further 25% and balance with collection of keys to Villa

Wonderful countryside with an interesting variety of restored medieval villages and by being only 30 minutes from the French border great for visits into France and visiting Perpignan and the historic charm of Collioure.
Travelling inland from L'Escala to the market town of Figueres with its wonderful shops and Dali Museum.
Travelling north beyond Roses to Cadaques and Port Lligat is a must.
Driving south there are some picturesque small bays close to Begur called Sa Tuna and Sa Riera. Close by,
Inland, are the medieval village of Peretellada and Pals.
Good choice of 18 hole Golf courses from L'Escala - Emporda. Pals, Serra Pals, Torremirona and Perelada.

The L'Escala / Punta Montgo area
L'Escala, a town of 6000 inhabitants, is one of the most picturesque and interesting places on the Costa Brava. It is situated on southern side of the majestic bay of Roses, approximately 25 minutes drive from the town of Roses.
Just outside the old village of L'Escala are the historic and extensive Greco - Roman ruins of Empuries. On the sea side of these ruins are a number of beautiful pine-sheltered sandy beaches which are just a few of the many superb beaches in and around L'Escala. the clear waters ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving.
L'Escala has a superb choice of restaurants, specialising in fish, and a number of bars and night clubs, providing a quality night life..There are no package holidays and it is ideal location for permanent living ,for holidays and weekend visits.

Dear Howard,
We have returned after having a wonderful holiday in Spain. You have a lovely home in a most beautiful setting. Always when we travel, myself and my husband ask the question ;if we were to have a holiday home would this be it? Yours ticked all our boxes, a beautiful sea view, close to the beach, lovely restaurants and within close distance to the town .
The children loved the pool so much so that most evenings we didn’t leave, they swam while we preferred to eat outside enjoying the view.
Particularly entertaining were the Fawlty Towers DVDs, as the children hadn’t seen them before, the Barcelona connection was very apt given we were heading on there.
We would hope to return and explore the area further.

A deposit will also be asked against breakages etc....and returned end of vacation period after inspection of property.A further 25% required 8 weeks before arrival payable to letting agent.
