The spaciousness of this property both inside and out means you have the choice of communal areas and privacy. The large garden/patio/pool area is pleasant and well maintained with both shaded and sunny areas. There is a BBQ on the terrace and with large dining areas both inside and out you have plenty of choice where to eat. This villa really is a luxurious home from home, comfortable and well equipped. Families and couples will love the private and communal space in this property. A perfect location in a quiet road but still close enough to walk to beach, shops and restaurants.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
Catalunia is in Northern Spain just south of the French border. From this coastal resort the options are endless. Explore the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains, including Olot and Banyoles, Andorra is 4 hours drive away. Small and large coastal resorts are situated all along the Costa Brava. There are the larger cities of Barcelona, Girona and Figueres where, art and achitecture capture your imagination.
L'Escala / Riels area
L'Escala is one of the smaller resorts along the Costa Brava. Renowned for it's anchovy products and ancient ruins. The older centre of town is a delight of small streets, cool and shaded in the summer but equally delightful out of the main season. Riels has a comfortably sized beach and pedestrian promonade with many bars and restaurants, some of these are closed out of season. The quieter side of the village Empuries is famous for its Roman ruins. In all there are 4 easily accessible beaches in L'Escala with the EU blue flag, many more, including the beautiful long beach near St Marti, are a short distance away.
How to get there
Fly to Girona airport or Barcelona. Follow signs to A7 motorway and travel toward France. L'Escala is exit 5 and well signposted about 20 minutes from the motorway. Alternatively fly to Perpignon and travel on the A7 toward Barcelona again take junction 5 and follow signs. Cheap airlines that serve Girona and Barcelona airport include Ryanair, Easyjet and BMI Baby. Always search as new routes are being added all the time. Car hire is available at the airport or from local companies. Reasonably priced transport is available from us if you book our property.

Further details indoors: On entering the villa the local style is immediately apparent. You enter a large open hallway which leads to all other rooms. There are three bedrooms, the master bedroom has an en suite shower room with wc. The other two bedrooms have twin beds. The family bathroom has bath, shower and wc. The lounge has ample seating, a ceiling fan and a small side terrace, fully equipped with TV/DVD and stereo. The kitchen/diner is a wonderful size and well equipped, there is no oven but there are hot plates, microwave and of course the bbq in the garden. There is a large table and chairs for family dining. Leading off from the kitchen are double doors to the patio and pool area.
Further details outdoors: The pool is a good size with the area around giving plenty of space for sitting in both sun and shade, the raised grassy area is well established and adds to the pleasure of being around the pool or having a bbq in the evenings. There is even a small private terrace on the back of the house and one off the lounge.
Ample outdoor seating and sun loungers on the patio.

A deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance due 7 weeks before your arrival.
We offer reasonably priced transport from local airports and know local English speaking babysitters.
