New build house spread over 2 floors with air-conditioning and heating. The upper floor houses 3 very attractive bedrooms, with woodland view. A communal swimming pool is the perfect place for sunbathing with comfortable loungers. 2 terraces at both the front of the house and out to the swimming pool. Outdoor BBQ facilities available on the terrace on both sides of the house, one balcony with a good view. There are 6 single beds or 2 double beds and 2 single beds on the first floor. Downstairs there is a sofa (futon) for 2 people. The villa sleeps 6 with a maximum of 8 people in total. Location: It is 5 minutes by car or 15 minute walk to the beach Riells. There are a few bars and 2 popular discotheques 15 minutes' walk away. The House is 1.2 km from the centre of L'Escala. It is a quiet area but at the same time very near the town. Closeby is the old town in L'Escala with 2 very charming beaches, bars, restaurants, cafes, shops. You can promenade from the old town along the beachside to Riells which has good bars, restaurants, shops & a nice relaxing, very charming large marina. Every Sunday (all year around) there is a market along the promenade. L'Escala is a historic fishing town in the Costa Brava, and is a flat area. The area has lot of activities - Sailing, golf, diving, windsurfing, horse riding, go-karts, waterpark (Aqua Brava). Near L'Escala there is also the town Roses a paradise for sailing. L'Escala has fantastic beaches, good food in their restaurants. Further information on the town can be found at the tourist information centre in the town L'Escala. There are many quality golf courses in the Costa Brava, and also cheap flights to Girona with Ryanair. Figueres with the Famous painter "Dali museum" 30 minutes, Barcelona 90 minutes, Girona 30 minutes. France Langedoc - Roussillon 30 minutes, very easy to reach for a day trip. It is a very nice place to stay fore a familie or friends.

The Costa Brava/Catalonia region
L'Escala is generally considered to be the best holiday resort in the Costa Brava. It is fantastic for families and independent holidaymakers who want to avoid the mass-market package resorts. L'Escala has combined a traditional Spanish fishing town with holiday resort without becoming 'spoilt' and has created its own unique atmosphere. Situated in the Alt Emporda district of the Girona region of Catalonia, the town also makes for an excellent base to discover the mostly unspoilt northern Costa Brava with it's beautiful beaches, traditional Spanish towns and villages, art, historic monuments, scenic countryside and nature parks including one of Spain's most important wild bird reserves which is situated a few miles to the north of town. L'Escala has a population of around 6,000, so in the winter there is still plenty of life to it. Of course during the busy summer months it swells to many times that amount. The town is also renowned for its anchovies and ancient ruins of Empuries.
Beaches The town is surrounded by blue flag beaches - the highest award possible in Spain. It also proudly boasts to have the first no smoking beach in Spain. At the northern end of the town next to the ancient ruins of Empuries are some of the most beautiful unspoilt beaches anywhere in Spain with lovely soft sand sloping into the clear water interspersed with some rocky parts that make for great snorkelling. The beaches here are miles long and remarkably quiet. In the town centre is the beach at Riell's which is popular with families with children, as it is large, gently sloping and next to lots of shops, restaurants cafe's and bars. At the south side of town there is also the lovely sheltered beach at Montgo.

At Montego there is avery nice restaurant with good wieu. All around has been so nice. L'Escala is a every exciting city, and there is every thing fore all kind of personality.
