This modern air-conditioned villa is very well equipped and has been decorated and furnished with care creating a lovely 'home from home'. There is a modern fitted kitchen well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher etc. All 3 bedrooms are air-conditioned.
The private swimming pool is set in a pretty south facing garden with an open aspect over green belt land offering views down to the sea, and across to the mountains. The 2 upstairs bedrooms open out on to a balcony-terrace with the same fabulous views. There are patio doors leading out from the lounge to a shaded dining terrace, the swimming pool patio and garden. There is a 'built in' barbecue allowing you to make the most of the warm evenings and indulge in ‘al fresco’ dining.
Internet access available: we can provide a USB modem for use on your lap top (charged locally, approx. 30.00Euros per week for unlimited usage).
The Villa is in an ideal location for a relaxing holiday, yet is within a 15minute walk distance of a summer opening supermarket, a couple of tapas bars and a family restaurant with children's play area.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
This area of the Costa Dorada has a great deal to offer, here are a few examples and then it's up to you decide how much or how little you want to do!
The popular resorts of Salou and Cambrils are within 20/30minutes (by car or regular train service form L'Ametlla). Salou is also the home of to one of the largest adventure theme parks in Europe, the Universal Studios Portaventura, for children of all ages!
The historic cities of Reus and Tarrgona are all within easy reach, they are bustling vibrant places, ideal for a spot of shopping, sampling the traditional tapas restaurants, or gazing at the architecture.
Tarragona also has an impressive Roman amphitheatre. And then not forgetting the magnificent city of Barcelona, the influence of Gaudi has made Barcelona one of the most impressive cities in the world. The most relaxing way of getting to Barcelona is to take the train from L’Ametlla to Barcelona Sants (return ticket approx. 14 Euros).
The best way to see the city is on the open top tourist bus, we recommend you take the blue and red route bus touristic, this offers the most comprehensive tour of the city. You can get on and off the buses as often as you like to experience the sights and attractions (day pass approx 18Euros, reduced fares for children).
For a more relaxing day out, the Ebro Delta nature reserve is within a 25minute drive and is truly stunning, it is world renowned for the rare species of wildlife and birds.
The beaches are incredible, the sand dunes were used as the setting in the film 'Sahara' starring Penelope Cruz. There are also lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views to take your breath away.
L'Ametlla de Mar / Tres Calas area
Villa Buena Vista is located in a quiet area yet only a 15minute walk from a couple of tapas bars, a bakery, a small summer opening supermarket, and a family restaurant with a children's play area. Las Tres Calas itself has three lovely sandy beaches and there are many more secluded beaches along the coast road between Las Tres Calas and L’Ametlla de Mar.
The traditional and quaint fishing village of L’Ametlla de Mar is located just 5mins drive away, whether you fancy a wander around the shops, a relaxing drink on the harbour watching the catch of the day being reeled in, or a more lively evening in one of the many bars, L’Ametlla won’t disappoint!
There is an indoor market held everyday selling fresh produce and a twice weekly outdoor market offering clothes, shoes, bags, and souvenirs all at great prices. Most of the local towns host weekly markets, one of the most popular being the Sunday market in Hospitalet del Infant (approx 15mins away), this is a bustling market in the summer, with a wide selection of clothes, bags and jewellery stands.
How to get there
The villa is easily accessible with the closest airport being Reus only 30mins away! And Barcelona only approx. 90mins away, Girona approx. 2hours away, and Valencia approx. 2hrs 30mins away.
Reus international airport is served by Ryan Air all year round (advertised as Barcelona Reus and sometimes Reus Salou), offering flights from Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, Luton, Stansted, Birmingham and Bristol. Additionally there is a selection of other airlines operating in the summer, including, First Choice, Thomsons, My Travel etc.
Barcelona Airport is served by a variety of low cost airlines flying daily from the UK and Ireland (including, Easyjet, My Travel Lite, Thomson Fly etc.)
Girona Airport is served by a variety of low cost airlines including Ryanair and Easyjet offering flights from all of the UK and Ireland.
Valencia airport is served by both low cost and scheduled airlines, including Ryanair from East Midlands.

The villa is managed by a local English agent who provide a full pre-arrival administration service as well as a full in resort support service. All rental clients are given full directions to Las Tres Calas where you will be met on arrival and guided to the Villa. You will then be shown around the villa and familiarised with the area, and provided with an information folder, and contact numbers for any queries during your stay.

Deposit – An initial deposit payment is due to secure the booking, a further instalment will be due 8weeks before travel and the final balance in cash on arrival.
Security Deposit - There will be a security deposit of 300Euros or 200pounds sterling payable in cash on arrival (in either local currency or pounds sterling). This deposit will be refunded in full at the end of the holiday subject to the villa and its contents being returned to the property owner in the same condition. Guestbook for Villa Buena Vista
Mr Gill - Buena Vista was just what we wanted. It was clean, well appointed, with a lovely good sized pool and garden that wasn't overlooked. The air-con was a must in August. The 'urbanization' was quiet and the local shops provided everything you need for a self catering holiday. The local cove was great (not walking distance) and the water parks, Porta Ventura and the resort of Cambrils were all within easy reach along the Autopista. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts I'd thoroughly recommend it.
Mr and Mrs Kemp, Sept 08 - This was our first villa holiday and we were a little bit apprehensive. But Sara was so helpful in helping us chose our villa and explained everthing to us, and sent us really good directions and then her husband met us and showed us to the villa, it was so much easier than we thought it would be. We will never stay in a hotel again. The villa was lovely and gave us so much freedom, our friends came to join us for our second week and we all had a really lovely time. We would recommend this villa and Sara and Martin to all of our friends.
