It is located in the prime, lower part of Les Tres Cales, only a five-minute walk to the sea where the small beaches and tiny coves make this stretch of coast one of the most beautiful (and least developed) in Spain. Golf, hiking, fishing, and all water sports are available nearby. Internet access can be provided.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
The Costa Daurada (golden coast) has many hundreds of years of history in addition to its beautiful coastline and beaches. To the north you will find the city of Tarragona with its Roman walls and medieval centre, near Tarragona is the Port Aventura theme park, a favourite with most children and many adults. To the south is the Delta del Ebre, a birdwatcher's paradise. One of Europe's biggest migratory areas, it is home or rest stop to hundreds of species. Further inland, along the Ebre River, is the city of Tortosa with its great castle, a remnant of ancient Arab times, as well as many picturesque villages that sit beside the river. Miravet, one such village boasts a Templar Castle and many artisan ceramic workshops.
L'Ametlla de Mar area
A short walk from the villa is the Castle of Sant Jordi (Saint George), now in ruins. It was one of many lookout forts and towers that lined the coast in medieval times when pirates sailed the coast. The village of L'Ametlla de Mar celebrates its patron saint in February. It also celebrates Corpus and Saint John in June and has many special celebrations throughout the summer. Tarragona celebrates its patron saint (Santa Tecla) in September and that celebration has won recognition by UNESCO as a World Heritage cultural event.
