The villa is air conditioned (hot and cold), so is suitable for all-year round use. Linen and towels are provided and end of holiday cleaning is included in the price.
This is a villa which caters for all age groups. The village of L'Amettla remains a traditional working fishing village. It has an array of eating places and bars and, for the more adventurous, it is 20 minutes away from the fantastic Port Aventura theme park.
The villa is situated within an urbanisation with wonderful views of the mountains behind and a distant sea view. Minutes from various local beaches, there are lots of sunbathing opportunities. In addition, the award winning Bonmont golf course and complex is only 20 minutes drive away for those who prefer mixing their sport with their holiday.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
There are lots of places to visit in the area. Tarragonna, Cambrils and Salou are the closest main holiday resorts. Each place has a different feel, but are all great places to go to.
Tarragonna is full of historical architecture, plus great shops and restaurants. Good to see at night when all the traditional spanish squares are lit up.
Salou is a more typical holiday resort, with a lovely long promenade, lots of children's activities, plus the Port Aventura theme park. Trains run regularly from L'Ametlla, and the theme park has its own station.
The region is famous for Torres and Cava wines, and local markets sell fresh fruit, vegetables and other culinary delicacies from the region. The fishermens' wives sell the day's catch at around 4pm on the L'Ametlla Harbour.
L'Ametlla de Mar / Tres Calas area
Tres Cales is the largest urbanisation in L'Ametlla De Mar. It is on the coast, so there are several lovely beaches to visit. "Tres Cales" means "Three Coves", which relates to the 3 main beaches.
There is a Commercial Centre on the urbanisation, with a few shops, bars and restaurants, and it is only a few minutes drive into the town of L'Ametlla de Mar, which is a traditional Spanish fishing village. There is a lovely harbour and some traditional squares offering a great variety of eating places.
We particularly like Esmarelda Restaurant which is on the urbanisation towards the beaches.
How to get there
The closest airport is Reus (Salou) which is a half hour drive from the villa. Ryanair has been one of the cheapest airlines and is available from Liverpool, Luton or Stansted.
Alternatively, Barcelona Airport is about 1 1/2 hours drive, and has a number of airlines flying into it. Easyjet, Monarch and Jet2 are the main ones.
Car Hire is recommended, either Holidayautos.co.uk or Carbookers.com offer a good value service.
Locally, there is an excellent taxi service, the owner is called Imma, and charges 60 Euros for an airport trip. She has a 6 seater car, her number is 0034 670 769 504. Alternatively, there are taxis outside the airport.

In addition to the rental rates for the villa, an additional bond of £250.00 is attached to each booking. This bond is returnable immediately after the completion of your holiday subject to a satisfactory inspection of the villa and outside facilities including sun loungers etc.
The bond may be withheld if, on the completion of your stay at the villa, the security, maintenance or cleaning staff report any missing or broken items or any damage to the property, furniture or equipment etc.
The payment of the bond is required when the final payment for the rental of the villa is paid and will be returned, subject to satisfactory inspecton reports, as soon after your return from holiday, as is practicable.
