Villa Florine is light and spacious throughout, the villa is well equipped and furnished, providing a luxury holiday setting. The villa has been well designed to make the most of the outside space, with 2 private balcony terraces leading off the upstairs bedrooms, providing views of the private swimming pool, and across to the mountains and to the sea. Villa Florine was completed in 2006, it is modern, bright and airy, is very well equipped, and has good quality furniture and fittings throughout.
Villa Florine has it's own large private swimming pool and only a 10 minute walk of a beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach and 5mins further on a high quality restaurant. Also within a 10-15minute walk of a few tapas bars, a bakery and supermarket.
The layout of Villa Florine makes it ideal for 2 small families, or couples travelling together as there is a double and twin bedroom and bathroom on both floors (upstairs a full bathroom and downstairs a shower room with toilet). The open plan lounge and dining area has seating for 8 people, additionally there is a barbecue and a choice of a covered terrace or the open patio area for 'al fresco' dining. There are 8 sun loungers provided to make the most of the relaxation area.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
This area of the Costa Dorada has a great deal to offer, here are a few examples and then it's up to you decide how much or how little you want to do!
The popular resorts of Salou and Cambrils are within 20/30minutes (by car or regular train service form L'Ametlla). Salou is also the home of the Universal Studios Adventure Park Portaventura, for children of all ages! The historic cities of Reus and Tarragona are all within easy reach, they are bustling vibrant places, ideal for a spot of shopping, sampling the traditional tapas restaurants, or gazing at the architecture. Tarragona also has an impressive Roman amphitheatre. And then not forgetting the magnificent city of Barcelona, the influence of Gaudi has made Barcelona one of the most impressive cities in the world. The most relaxing way of getting to Barcelona is to take the train from L’Ametlla to Barcelona Sants (return ticket approx. 14Euros). The best way to see the city is on the open top tourist bus, we recommend you take the blue and red route bus tuoristic, this offers the most comprehensive tour of the city. You can get on and off the buses as often as you like to experience the sights and attractions (day pass approx 18Euros, reduced fares for children).
For a more relaxing day out, the Ebro Delta nature reserve is within a 25minute drive and is truly stunning, it is world renowned for the rare species of wildlife and birds. The beaches are incredible, the sand dunes were used as the setting in the film 'Sahara' starring Penelope Cruz. There are also lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views that will take your breath away.
L'Ametlla de Mar / Tres Calas area
Villa Florine is located in a quiet residential area approx. a 10minute walk from the fabulous sandy beach of Cala Forn and within a 15minute walk of a high quality yet reasonably priced international restaurant. There is summer opening supermarket, a couple of cafe bars, and a bakery also within a 15minute walk of the villa.
The villa offers and ideal holiday location for a relaxing holiday, yet is within easy reach of the beaches and many local tourist attractions. The coastline in this area is among the most beautiful and unspoilt in the Mediterranean, there are 3 lovely sandy coves to chose from in Las Tres Calas itself and there are many more secluded beaches along the coastal road between Las Tres Calas and L’Ametlla de Mar.
The traditional and quaint fishing village of L’Ametlla de Mar is located just 5mins away by car, whether you fancy a wander around the shops, a relaxing drink on the harbour watching the catch of the day being reeled in, or a more lively evening in one of the many bars, L’Ametlla won’t disappoint! There is an indoor market held everyday selling fresh produce and a twice weekly outdoor market offering clothes, shoes, bags, and souvenirs all at great prices. Most of the local towns host weekly markets, one of the most popular being the Sunday market in Hospitalet del Infant (approx 15mins away), this is a bustling market in the summer, with a wide selection of clothes, bags and jewellery stands.
How to get there
The villa is easily accessible with the closest airport being Reus only 30mins away! And Barcelona only approx. 90mins away, Girona approx. 2hours away, and Valencia approx. 2hrs 30mins away.
Reus international airport is served by Ryan Air all year round (advertised as Barcelona Reus and sometimes Reus Salou), offering flights from Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, Luton, Stansted, Birmingham and Bristol. Additionally there is a selection of other airlines operating in the summer, including, First Choice, Thomsons, My Travel etc.
Barcelona Airport is served by a variety of low cost airlines flying daily from the UK and Ireland (including, Easyjet, My Travel Lite, Thomson Fly etc.)
Girona Airport is served by a variety of low cost airlines including Ryanair and Easyjet offering flights from all of the UK and Ireland.
Valencia airport is served by both low cost and scheduled airlines, including Ryanair from East Midlands.

Further details indoors: The villa was only completed in 2006, it a modern bright and spacious villa. It has been finished with attention to detail and has been tastefully furnished and decorated with quality furnishings throughout.
There are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms (an extra single bed is available to accommodate a 9th guest). All 4 bedrooms have wardrobes and storage space.
The layout of the villa makes it ideal for 2 families sharing with a double and twin bedroom and full bathroom upstairs and the other double and twin bedroom and shower room downstairs.
Upstairs the master bedroom has a private terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the other bedroom has a private terrace looking over to the sea and mountains.
The modern fitted kitchen is well equipped with a microwave and dishwasher, there is a washing machine and clothes airer in the utility area.
You will be able to catch up on the news and the soaps while you are away, if you want to?? The television has all BBC, and ITV channels as well as a good selection of other English free to view channels.
Further details outdoors: There are patio doors from the large open plan lounge onto to a covered dining terrace and then out to the swimming pool.
There is a fabulous built in chimney style barbecue ideal for making the most of the warm evenings.

The villa is managed by a local English agent who provide a full pre-arrival administration service as well as a full in resort support service. All rental clients are given full directions to Las Tres Calas where you will be met on arrival and guided to the Villa. You will then be shown around the villa and familiarised with the area, and provided with an information folder, and contact numbers for any queries during your stay.

Deposit – An initial deposit payment is due to secure the booking, a further instalment will be due 8weeks before travel and the final balance in cash on arrival.
Security Deposit - There will be a security deposit of 300Euros or 200pounds sterling payable in cash on arrival (in either local currency or pounds sterling). This deposit will be refunded in full at the end of the holiday subject to the villa and its contents being returned to the property owner in the same condition. Any damages, losses or breakages will be deducted from the security deposit.
