This villa is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac on the urbanization of Les Tres Calas with views of the mountains and is only a short drive from several beautiful sandy coves. The local fishing village of L'Ametlla De Mar is a 5 minute drive away and beautiful countryside behind the villa is easily accessible.The villa is fully equipped and we are always on hand to help arrange trips, assist in any teething problems and much more in order that your stay at the villa is one you will remember with happy memories for years to come. We recognise how important your vacation is and from the moment you walk through the door you will not be disappointed.

This spacious 3 bedroom villa is located in a quiet cul-de-sac but close to local amenities. It offers a large solar heated swimming pool with ample room to sunbathe and eat al fresco. There is a seated area outside to enjoy the mountain views. Private parking facilities for 3 cars. Inside the villa consists of open plan kitchen / diner, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. Air conditioning units in main sitting room and master bedroom. The sitting room has ample seating for 8 people with sky t.v and air conditioning. Swimming pool is 25ft long x 13ft wide x 6.5ft deep.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region

The villa is located in the southern part of the Costa Dorada, in Tres Calas (The Three Coves), a small urbaisation with two bars (one with free WiFi), a restaurant, a supermarket and bakery located at the entrance to the estate, all within a short walk from the villa. Tres Calas has its own three uncrowded beaches, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. The beaches are all within a 5 minute drive from the villa. There are also many historic towns and castles to visit in the nearby area.The scenic and varied coast of the Costa Dorada, features long stretches of golden sand beaches, charming coves, fishing villages and picturesque inland villages with intriguing history and culture. The waters along this part of the Mediterranean Sea are clean and shallow, and there are many blue flag beaches making this area ideal for families with children. And of course, the excitement of the world class theme park--the Universal Studios Port Aventura adds to the thrill of the holiday. With hundreds of rides, ranging from the gentle to the thrill seekers (you’ll find the only 8 looped roller coaster in the world in the park). Port Aventura and the adjoining Costa Caribbe Water Park are approximately 25 minutes from the villa by car. For those interested in history and culture, the villa is well situated for easy day trips to many beautiful cities and towns. You won’t want to miss seeing Barcelona, the European city of culture, with its fascinating art, architecture, food, and style, a 90 min drive from the villa or use the train service The historic city of Reus, with an abundance of shops, and the ancient city of Tarragona with its Roman buildings and amphitheatre, and stunning esplanade that looks down on to further sandy beaches are each 30 minutes drive away The picturesque village of Miravet is also about 30 minutes drive away from the villa. . You can also visit the Knights Templar Castle.There is also a famous ceramics museum just off the St Jordi urbanisation (about 5 mins ) from the villa Towards the South is the Ebro Delta Natural Park, one of the largest wetland areas in the Mediterranean region, and provides habitat for over 300 species of birds. It is famous for its pink flamingoes and monstrous catfish. This is a very popular spot for fisherman, and fishing (with license) is permitted For the more energetic there are numerous walks, including the GR Coastal walk, and the trails in the stunning National Park Del Ports, as well as many interspersed throughout the olive droves, and the mountains climbing from directly behind the villa. Guides can be acquired at the well stocked local tourist information offices. Bike rides along the old train track running along the River Ebro from Tortosa is another must For golfers, there are many fine golf courses within a half hour drive by car from the villa. One of the best--Golf Club de Bonmont and considered to be one of the finest golf courses in Catalonia, is at Mont-Roig del Camp, Tarragona. All in all this area has something for everyone, whether it is the secure beaches for families with small children, the thrills of Port Aventura, the night-life of Salou (about 20mins away), the walking and cycle trails for the active and adventurous, the golfing and fishing, or the history and scenery of the stunning towns and villages, or maybe just the wonderful bars in the nearby village of L'Ametlla de Mar, where you can watch the sun set on the crystal blue sea, whilst enjoying a glass of local red wine, and enjoying the tapas and local seafood.
There is so much to do in this area, but also find time to discover the many gastronomic restaurants that are often hidden down small side streets in villages, or down windy country roads. Additionally, spend time visiting the town's cooperatives where good wine, olives and Spanish sausage are all on offer. We will be happy to provide all guests with further recommendations of restaurants, villages that are a must see, co-operatives, etc., prior to or during their visits. The local tourist offices additionally provide great guides in Spanish, Catalan, French, German and English. The L'Ametlla de Mar / Tres Calas area

The local fishing village of L'Ametlla De Mar is a 5 minute drive away and boasts a lovely sheltered beach and numerous tapas bars and restaurants. It has a train station for easy access to Barcelona. L’Ametlla has both sandy and pebble beaches, cliffs and coves making it one of the most beautiful and unspoiled coastlines in Spain Situated further along the coast is the resort of Miami Playa with a stunning sandy beach which stretches for several miles and has many seafront restaurants to dine al-fresco. The Universal Studios theme park Port Aventura is located 30 minutes away on the outskirts of Salou with the waterpark Costa Caribe right next door and is an absolute must for a day out with the kids. Whether you are looking to relax by the pool, laze on the beach or hike along the coastline and mountains L'Ametlla del Mar has it all.
