Beautifully furnished, modern detached villa in spacious own grounds with pool and barbecue. Fully equipped with modern appliances and equipment, freeview satellite TV and books/games to fully enjoy a relaxing holiday in our home-from-home.
Although there are many excellent, good value restaurants within easy reach, we include a welcome pack of basic groceries with all bookings to ensure that your arrival is as pleasant as possible. Linen and towels are changed on departure, and all prices include end of holiday cleaning.
The villa is furnished to a high standard, to ensure comfort and relaxation throughout your stay. We have air conditioning in the lounge/dining room and master bedroom, and there are fans and oil-filled radiators in the other rooms, so it is available for use all year round.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
There are lots of places to visit in the area. Tarragona, Cambrils and Salou are the closest main holiday resorts. Each offers lots of interesting places to visit, from beautiful beaches, good restaurants and shops to historic architecture, particularly Tarragona.
There is a lovely long promenade in Salou, as well as a Universal Studios theme park and water park called Port Aventura. Cambrils is a very cosmopolitan marina resort, lots of restaurants and boutiques. Tarragona itself has a beautiful old town, with ancient buildings around busy squares full of restaurants and pavement cafes.
It is a huge wine-growing region, famous for Cava and Torres wines. There are also local markets selling fresh fruit, vegetables and cured hams etc.
L'Ametlla de Mar / Tres Calas area
Tres Cales is the largest urbanisation in Ametlla De Mar. It is on the coast, so there are several lovely beaches within a couple of minutes drive form the villa. Saint Jordi beach also has an historic Castle nearby.
There is a Commerical Centre on the urbanisation, with shops and restaurants, but it is only a few minutes drive into the village of Ametlla, which is a very traditional Spanish fishing village. The focus is the lovely fishing harbour around which there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. There is also a charming old town with interesting architecture.
How to get there
The closest Airport is Reus (Salou) which is a half hour drive from the villa. Ryanair is the cheapest airline and is available from Liverpool, Luton or Stansted.
Alternatively, Barcelona Airport is about 1 1/2 hours drive and has a number of airlines flying there. Easyjet, Monarch and Jet2 are the main ones.
Locally, there is an excellent taxi service, the owner is called Imma and she will do airport runs to Reus for about 60 euros. Tel 0034 670 769 504. The taxi carries up to 6 persons and can be booked prior to departure.
Car Hire is recommended, either Holidayautos.com or Carbookers. com are good.

Further details outdoors: The gardens are particularly pleasant and have a range of outdoor furniture and a lovely barbecue area. There is a large sun terrace upstairs which can be reached via the master bedroom or the landing. Beautiful mountain views from the terrace make it a very pleasant place to enjoy the sun.
