Home description
This stunning villa has a huge mature garden with a barbecue area furnished with a wooden table and chairs that can be shaded. There is also a play area for children with swing, slide and shaded sand pit. Further outside toys will be available.
Inside the villa, there is a big and light open plan living room and kitchen with a breakfast bar in between. The kitchen opens onto the terrace and the secured 8m x 4m swimming pool.
The villa has full diesel central heating with radiators in every room, which make it ideal for a Christmas break.
This villa is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. It is our own home so it is well equipped and has got everything you could wish for.

The Costa Dorada/Tarragona region
The Costa Dorada (or Daurada) means the Golden Coast: miles of unspoiled golden sandy beaches under an intense blue sky and temperature up to 27 degrees in average; where else would you want to spend your holidays??
The area is full of interest: Tarragona is a town of exceptional history and its ruins are worth a look. Reus host several museums with archaeological exhibits. Barcelona, capital of Catalunya , is full of architecture masterpiece and must seen. On the west of the city and accessible by cable car, is the enchanting mountain monastery of Montserrat whose Black Virgin attracts numerous pilgrims. The Delta Ebro is the 2d largest wetland area after the French Camargue. It is a unique environment of immense natural wealth and was declared “natural park” in 83. To explore the Delta you have the choice between boats, hiring a bicycle or even nice walks. Other places are also worth a look, like Sitges, Miravet…. There is plenty to do what ever you fancy!
L'Ametlla de Mar / Sant Jordi d'Alfama area
L´Ametlla de Mar is a quiet little village that will give you the break you need from the hectic city life. It is mainly a fishing village and you will enjoy watching its colourful little boats from one of the several restaurants terrace, right on the harbour. It has also all the shops you need, a daily indoor market, and bars for a lively evenings “al fresco”
Its 3 urbanisations, Las Tres Calas, Sant Jordi d´Alfama and Calafat, have a succession of beautiful little coves ( Calas) with golden sand.
For your children’s delight ( and yours as well!!) there is several amusement park less than 45 minutes away. The main one is the Universal Studio Port Aventura, which has all the attractions you want for a thrilling day out whatever your age! And its aquatic park Costa Caraibe. They are situated near the busy resort of Salou. Other amusement park like Aquopolis and AquaLeon Safari will also provide you with another great family day out.
The area also offers 3 great golf courses less than an hour drive away.
How to get there
Reus is the closest airport, about 25 minutes drive . Flights with Ryanair operate from a number of places, including Stansted, Luton, Liverpool, Glasgow and Dublin.
Barcelona airport is 1hour 1/2. Low cost airline, including Easyjet flight from all over England.
We strongly advise that book a car in advance through one of the many online car hire services. Both the airport have got several number of companies including Solmar, usually one of the cheapest.

Further details indoors: Regarding the bedrooms, there are 2 doubles, one that can easily accommodate a cot or an extra single bed; it also has a TV and DVD player . The 3d bedroom is quiet big and can easily take 3 single beds. The last bedroom has got 1 single bed and eventually can be left with toys...........They have all got plenty of wardrobe space.
Cot and high chair are available by prior arrangement, as well as a pushchair, a pram, a baby walker, a baby bath, baby monitors, and a bottle warmer. ( If you think of anything else, just ask!)
The living room is fitted with a home cinema surround sound system and a Nintendo Wii. You will also have access to a large selection of DVD and CD.
The kitchen is fitted with a water purification system which gives you drinking water from the tap, no need to be carrying bottled water from the supermarket.
Further details outdoors: The trampoline has got a security net but, as stated in the contract, the children would have to be supervised at all time and we would not be taken responsible in case of injury.
There is multi gym outside in the shade, as well as a punch bag, if you've got the energy!

You will be provided with the directions to get to the villa from which ever airport you choose to land. We will meet you at the villa to shown you round and give you the instructions necessary. You will also find a folder with all the information you need about the villa, the area and the phone numbers you might need. We will also be close by if needed, and available by phone 24/7.
Conditions
Smoking is not allowed inside the villa but you will be provided with ashtray for the outside.
We ask for 20% of the payment at the time of the booking. The rest is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of 350 pounds will also be paid and refunded within 2 weeks of your departure.
