The apartment is situated in a quiet area in the heart of Kyrenia, & is one of 5 apartments, Kyrenia Penthouse occupies the entire top floor, with 3 double bedrooms.
High ceilings which help to keep apartment cool.
Master bedroom has a kingsize bed & full height fitted wardrobes with patio door opening on to it's own large balcony.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed & freestanding wardrobe with patio door opening on to the rear full length balcony.
Bedroom 3 has twin single beds with walk-in wardrobe also with doors also opening on to rear balcony.
Family bathroom with bath, shower, basin & wc.
Separate cloakroom with wash basin & wc.

Large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with high ceilings & marble fireplace, has patio doors at rear opening onto balcony with built-in BBQ & patio doors at front onto a further large balcony.

All balconies have lighting for night-time dining. Tables & chairs & 2 sunloungers are provided plus umbrella & stand. Perfect for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade whatever the time of day.

The pool has a built in BBQ also & is surrounded by elegant wrought iron railings, there is also an outdoor shower.

The Kyrenia District

Situated in a quiet area in Kyrenia within 10/15 mins walk of Kyrenia's picturesque Venetian horseshoe harbour with it's popular restaurants & bars - dine in a roof top restaurant, the views are stunning! Large supermarkets and smaller local shops are close by.

Northern Cyprus has many historic sites & castles all unspoilt, too many to go into detail although a visit to Bellapias Abbey is a must. You can dine in the grounds in the evening - spectacular.

The restaurants are many & varied from the upmarket Ambience & The Address where you can dine by the sea, the popular restaurants surrounding the horseshoe harbour to a very reasonable curry at Jashans or a simple Meze.. Food & wine are good & very reasonably priced, plus large supermarkets cater for all needs.

If you need a quick meal or a leisurly coffee go to Cafe Dukan 5 mins walk from the apartment which also houses a local craft/art shop.

Credit cards are widely accepted. There is also a cash machine with English intructions at the HSBC bank near the apartment.

A trip down the Karpaz Peninsula will find long, magnificent beaches mainly deserted and the occasional wild donkey.

Turtle Beach is where the turtle eggs are laid June/July time, volunteers are welcome to watch them hatch around late August/September. Beach is well signposted.

Kyrenia / Girne area

Diving is a popular activity, available in the harbour, from The Jasmin Court Hotel or from the 'Dive Shops'.

There are many casinos usually attached to the larger hotels.

Boat trips are available from the Harbour.

The new Korineum Golf Course, inc driving range should be fully open by early 2007. Day passes are available.

Hill walking in the Spring is popular to see the wild flowers, you can even call in at the local animal shelter & take one of the rescue dogs for a welcome walk.


How to get there

Fly to Ercan Airport with Turkish Airlines or Cyprus Turkish Airlines (CTA), all flights touchdown in Turkey enroute. 20 mins to apartment by hire car or taxi.

Fly direct to Larnaca with British Airways or Cyprus Airways. Transfer across the border to Northern Cyprus approx. 1hr 20mins. Private pick up can be arranged (please ask for costs) or you can be met by hire car company who will drive you back to Northern Cyprus & take you to the apartment.

Car hire can be arranged by us if you wish through a company we have used on many occasions & found to be very reliable. Cost is approx. £15.00 - £20.00 per day for a small hatchback according to the season. Driving is on the left handside of the road as in UK.

The apartment has large spacious rooms with high ceilings which stay cool in the summer, also all rooms are fully airconditioned. A TV for playing DVDs is provided, a selection of DVDs supplied but you are welcome to bring your own. The player is Multi -Region. A supply of tea/coffee/milk/bread etc. to start you off can be arranged if you wish.

Further details outdoors:
The balconies are ideal for alfresco dining or a spot of peaceful sunbathing. The pool is surrounded by wrought iron railings making it safer for children. It is accessed through locked gates either side of the pool (keys provided). Although the pool is shared there are only 5 apartments, usually only 1 or 2 of which are occupied at any one time so the pool tends to be quiet at most times.

Conditions

A £100 deposit is required to secure the booking. Confirmation of booking & receipt of deposit will be sent. Full balance due 6 weeks before departure, together with a deposit of £150.00 against any breakages, damage & return of keys. Fully refundable within 7 days following clean checkout report & return of keys.
Cancellations - we will always endeavour to re-let the apartment, and if successful a refund will be given.
We strongly advise all clients to take out holiday insurance against cancellation.
