The Kyrenia District
Northern Cyprus is blessed with the most pleasing climate in the whole of Europe. The winters are mild and rarely extend beyond February and with over 300 days of sunshine a year, the temperatures can reach into the 70s as early as March. In April and May, Cyprus is at its most beautiful with fields of wild flowers in full bloom. July and August are the hottest months and ideal for sun worshippers. To get a taste of Cyprus 30 years ago you are advised to visit the Karpaz peninsula where time stands still. There are miles of sandy beaches with not a person in sight even in the summer. Ancient towns, basilicas, ruins and tombs scatter the area waiting to be explored. Be sure to visit the old dungeons in Famagusta and the ancient ruins at Salamis.
Kyrenia area
The coast road takes you to Kyrenia with its enchanting Venetian harbour and onto Bellapais which was made famous by Lawrence Durrell's 'The Bitter Lemons of Cyprus'. There are many restaurants within walking distance whilst those further afield will often supply a free taxi to their customers. There are sandy coves all along the coast road and for those with children there is a brand new water park within 2 minutes drive of the apartment. Kyrenia Castle,which houses the oldest shipwreck in the world, the spectacular Bellapais Abbey and the Roman ruins at Salamais are ideal for history lovers. Where ever you are you always have the benefit of fantastic sea views and the dramatic backdrop of the Besparmak mountain range.
How to get there
Three airlines fly to Northern Cyprus(Ercan Airport) from the UK, Turkish Airlines, Cyprus Turkish Airlines and Atlas Jet. Transfers take approximately 30 minutes and are free if car hire of at least one week is booked through our recommended agent. A greater choice of flights are available to Southern Cyprus(Larnaca/Paphos). Transfers from Larnaca across the border take approximately 90 minutes and costs £80 return if booked in conjunction with car hire through our recommended agent.For transfers from Paphos you should allow 2 1/2 hours and airport pick ups can be arranged on request.

The apartment is furnished to a high standard.There is an en suite shower room to the Master Bedroom in addition to the main bathroom. A Breakfast Terrace can be accessed from the kitchen which has views over the communal pool and the mountains beyond.
This property can also be let in conjunction with the Ground Floor apartment (Pines 2) which may be of interest to larger families or two families holidaying together.
Further details outdoors: The apartment benefits from a communal pool, a separate children's pool and spacious grounds which provide a safe environment for the younger members of your party. The roof terrace has seating and a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining whilst providing spectacular views over both the Mediterranean Sea and Besparmak mountain range.
The apartment also comes with the use of the owners membership of a local beach club and its facilities. These include pool, restaurant, tv lounge, gym, quad bikes, paint-balling, watersports and boat trips. The membership provides free entrance for four people and a 20% discount against all purchases.
There is a newly opened spa less than 5 minutes drive away whilst the nearest scuba diving centre is 2 minutes walk from the apartment catering for novice and experienced divers alike.
Key collection, car hire, welcome packs and airport transfers can all be arranged through the owner's local managing agents.

The apartment has Satellite TV installed with English channels and also comes with a Playstation 2 which will also play your DVD and CD's.Great when the kids fancy a bit of chill out time out of the sun. We have supplied a music docking station including charger which is compatible with all iPod's,MP3 players CD walkmans and mini disc players.

The remaining balance must be paid not less than 8 weeks prior to start of letting together with a £150 security bond.
