A stay at Love Beach Villa offers a true insight to Turkey, its culture and the local way of life. The centre of the village is only a short walk from the villa where you can mingle with the locals as you visit the local shops, coffee houses, mosque, bakery, restaurants & weekly market.
Forget about the faster pace of living back home. Davutlar and the surrounding area offer a world of days gone by as the local's trot around on their donkeys, and the farmers plough their fields by horses.
Take a stroll through the heart of the village and you will be transferred back in time to narrow streets and crumbling old buildings that were originally built when the Greeks lived in Davutlar. As you walk by, you will witness traditional Turkish ladies sat chatting on their doorsteps, cleaning their carpets, hanging out the washing or maybe even milking a goat

The Aegean Coast region
The Aegean region is situated in the western part of Turkey and extends from the Mediterranean northwards between Greece and Turkey. Because the region has been a home for many civilizations there are many ancient cities such as Aphrodisias, Pergamum, Thyatira and more. Aydin is the twenty second largest cities in Turkey, 65km away from Kusadasi where olive, fig, oranges, tangerines, cotton, tobacco and sunflower grow.
Kusadasi / Davutlar area
Davutlar - Kusadasi has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. With 300 days of sunshine, the average air & water temperatures is from 18 degrees in May, 25 - 28 in August and up to 25 in October. Average water temperature during high season is 22 degrees.
Davutlar's relaxed, friendly atmosphere makes it an excellent choice for families and couples. The local town is 200 meters from the front gate with supermarkets, family run fresh bakeries and vegetable stalls. A short Dolmus ride to the north finds the popular tourist haven of Kusadasi with its Bazaars, Restaurants, Nightclubs, Beaches and Waterparks. Not to mention the ancient sites of Ephesus, St Johns Basilica and the house of the Virgin Mary (Meryamana).
Love Beach is 1km from the villa or why not explore the many tranquil beaches along the Dilek Peninsula or take a ferry ride to the Greek Island of Samos (2km offshore).
One thing not to miss out on is a visit to a local Turkish Baths, otherwise known as a “hamam”. Like the harem, this Roman and Byzantine tradition was adopted and then perfected by the Selcuk Turks.
How to get there
BA fly to Adnan Menderes Airport (Izmir) 3 times per week from London Gatwick. There are frequent flights into Izmir and Bodrum. Some useful websites are; Turkish Airlines website: www.thy.com and Thomas Cook website: flythomas.cook.com
Transfer time from (80KM) is approx imately 1 hour 15 minutes. Transfer from Bodrum Airport is approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Although car rental is advisable there is a local minibus service. Taxis are also inexpensive.
Love Beach Villas is situated 15 KM south of Kusadasi. The "Kusadasi-Davutlar" minibus runs every 30 minutes.
Taxi pick up from Izmir Airport or Bodrum Airport is available upon request at a pre-arranged rate.

Lounge and Dining Room: The open plan lounge is comfortably furnished for your relaxation. For entertainment there is a CD player to play your favourite hits and some books, and to relax watch a DVD. We recommend most of your time to be spent outside on the villas numerous balconies and terraces enjoying the spectacular views and the sea breeze.
