The rental price includes the use of all utilities such as gas, electricity and running water. It also includes the use of bed linen and towels. It also includes after-stay cleaning and washing, so there are no hidden extras to pay.

The roof terrace contains a Turkish-style outdoor kitchen with hot and cold water, marble work surfaces, a built-in barbecue and washing machine. It is half covered to provide shade, and provides magnificent views towards the beach and mountains.

The Aegean Coast region

In summer (May to October) expect clear blue skies every day (average 30-35 degrees). Throughout the winter the days can also be warm, although from November to March the nights can be cold. It rains only on about 30 days in the year.

The bustling city of Kusadasi is about 10k away (an easy and cheap bus or taxi ride or drive in the car), where there is a multitude of shops, a large bazaar, busy harbour, restaurants and great night life. Leather goods, jewellery and of course carpets and clothes and shoes are all in abundance. The famous Ladies Beach (for both men and women!) is also close to Kusadasi, while there are two excellent water parks on the outskirts of the town.

With beautiful sandy beaches, breathtaking scenery and fascinating historical sites around every corner, there's plenty to keep anyone occupied in this area of Turkey. The famous and fascinating ancient city of Ephesus is situated not far from Kusadasi, a day out at which has been voted by our family as the best ever! You can also visit the house of the Virgin Mary on the same day, where she was thought to have spent her final years after the crucifixion and acknowledged by the Vatican as a holy site.

Other days out include one to Dalyan and the famous mud baths, the market at Soke, said to be one of the finest in Turkey, or a Lazy Day cruise around the sparkling coastline, stopping off at several locations for a dip in the clear Aegean waters (don't forget your snorkel). You may also want to go on a Jeep or horse safari for something a little different. All of these trips and many more are on offer at great prices from local agents.

The city of Kusadasi has a multitude of restaurants - many with their own free entertainment including belly dancing and traditional Turkish dancers - as well as many nightclubs. There is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary and restaurants nearby. There are many Turkish baths in the vicinity as well as the hot spring baths in Davultar (fantastic after a hard day out). Cash machines in Davutlar and Kusadasi mean you need never be short of money to pay for all these attractions!
