"Comfortable, Spacious, Views, Pools, Gym, Location. Perfect for Families"
Responsive emails to organise and all questions answered promptly. Met and orientated by Hayat's son to the extensive facilities and security. Minor hassle with WiFi and second security card but resolved with phone call. The views toward the central skyline is spectacular. Lie in bed and view the illuminated Petronas towers! 3 double bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. Very handy washing machine as well, clothes dry quickly. We all enjoyed the very large pool on level 5....we were the only ones there each morning. Gym with views to run too and infinity pool on 33rd floor excellent. Loved the contrast of the old Malay area that had been preserved across the road that ensures the views are as extensive. Great local Hawker stalks right across the road! Always plenty of taxi in stand outside cheap trip to city. Only hassle was catching taxi back from the city we found many drivers had no idea where the Setia Skies are or would not do the trip for a reasonable local price. Suggest that guests are provided with a small card with address and clear map on it showing where it is as most tourist maps are just covering the central city area and don't have this road on it. We often had to show via our maps or drivers needed to talk to other drivers for directions. Mentioning it was near the "Government Hospital" helped orientation. Avoid trying to catch a taxi between 4.30pm and 7.30pm particularly if it is raining as drivers will request a high (by local standards) price and won't use their meters. Even so we always enjoyed our taxi trips and chats with the drivers. We are a family with 12 and 15 year old boys and it was a great option at an excellent price for the space and facilities.......felt like we were locals living in KL! Great option!

"Great place to stay and great value"
Husband, self, adult son and niece stayed for 10 days and it was very good. Although it is a little way out of the city, there is a free shuttle to Suria KLCC from where you can get the train to Chinatown, or Central Station. But it is easy to hail a taxi from the street at the front of the building. Being in Kampung Baru, it is an area full of local restaurants serving very good, very cheap food. It's a Halal area, so no beer or pork, but the Intermark hotel with a big shopping arcade and excellent supermarket is only a 5 rm taxi ride away. The apartment is spacious, with three bedrooms (two with en suite bathrooms, and there is a third bathroom, plus an extra toilet). Cooking facilities are two gas hotplates (for woks) and a microwave and there is a good fridge/freezer. Television is a bit limited but our host went out of his way to provide free wifi connection, and you could plug your laptop into the television. There is a washing machine, and plenty of drying space. Our bed linen was changed halfway through the stay, and there were ample towels. The facilities at the condo are terrific. Two pools - one huge one downstairs and two beautiful lap pools on the 33rd floor. And the gym is terrific also. We had a wonderful time, and Mr Hayat and his family are quite delightful and nothing is too much trouble.
