The kitchen has pots, pans, plates, toaster, microwave and liquidiser to make fruit juices from all the lovely fruit available. The bathrooms both have lovely showers with hot water. There is a washing machine and all three bedrooms each with double beds. Internet access is via a dongle which you can use during your stay and is pay as you go and a small deposit is required and returned. We provide all you need for a budget self-catering holiday.
It is important to us you enjoy your stay so please note; I am not in the city centre I am 9km/5miles out of town, in a local area but with easy access to places of interest in and around the city because of strategically highway links here. Families with children have found it a useful location for activities like water world, Sun city etc. While my apartment is in great condition the building outside is in need of a repaint which is why I list it as budget accommodation despite luxury facilities. If you like exploring and being an independent traveller this is local living in Kuala Lumpur cost are less to eat than being in the city centre and local.
|Further details outdoors|
There is a small shop on site where you can buy all your basics. There is an Olympic size swimming pool and children's swimming pool with lovely slide and children's play ground areas. There is a squash court, and tennis court with rackets provided in the chest in the flat. Down the hill there are a number of restaurants with great food of all nationalities.
For transport we usually hire a car for (There will be contact details) but there are buses (they are down the hill) and taxis which are not expensive. I definitely find it easier hiring a car.
There is a security gate which you pass through to get into Venice Hill with security guards. I will give you a pass card on arrival but this must be returned as they cost £30 to replace.
There an information file about facilities we have left for you, about restaurants which are down the hill. Places to visit in KL, interesting trips we have been on, like being in an Elephants sanctuary or jungle walks etc. We hardly ever cook but there is everything in the flat if you wish to.

History | Getting Around | Attractions
More than any other spot in the country, Kuala Lumpur, or "KL" as it is commonly known, is the focal point of new Malaysia. While the city's past is still present in the evocative British colonial buildings of the Dataran Merdeka and the midnight lamps of the Petaling Street night market, that past is everywhere met with insistent reminders of KL's present and future. The city's bustling streets, its shining, modern office towers, and its cosmopolitan air project an unbounded spirit of progress and symbolize Malaysia's unhesitating leap into the future. To some, this spirit seems to have been gained at the loss of ancient cultural traditions, but in many ways KL marks the continuation rather than the loss of Malaysia's rich past. Like Malacca five hundred years before, KL's commercial centre is a grand meeting place for merchants and travellers from all over the world.
In the same way, the city brings together Malaysia's past and present, its many constituent cultures, and even its remarkable natural treasures, allowing first-time visitors an invaluable opportunity to see Malaysia as a whole before setting off to explore its parts. In the botanical and bird parks of the Lake Gardens one is treated to a first glimpse of the unsurpassed beauty and variety of Malaysia's plants and animals. In the vibrant Central Market, music, crafts, and cultural practices from Kelantan to Sarawak can be explored and experienced. And in the National Museum, the dizzying multiplicity of Malaysia's cultural history comes into focus. As the entry point for most visitors and the meeting point of the country's many attractions, Kuala Lumpur is a grand gateway to a fascinating destination.
Other attractions around KL are north of the city, where limestone peaks rise up out of the forest and the roads narrow as you pass through small kampungs. There is dramatic scenery as close as 13km from the city, where the Hindu shrine at the Batu Caves attracts enough visitors to make it one of Malaysia's main tourist attractions. Further north, the Orang Asli Museum offers a fascinating insight into the Peninsula's native inhabitants, and the Forest Institute of Malaysia encompasses the nearest portion of primary rainforest to the capital. Southwest of KL, the most alluring place is Klang, Selangor's first capital, location of a fascinating tin museum. Ferries to Sumatra leave from Port Klang, 8km southwest of Klang. A little further north along the coast, Kuala Selangor Nature Park and the fireflies at Kuala Kuantan are worth a visit
Venice Hill gives you real local living, natural surroundings the flat overlooks tropical forest. If you love swimming some week days you can almost have the pool to yourself. Down the hill there are many restaurants giving tastes of Malay, Chinese, Indian and Western dishes some of which are available all night and is a delicious experience. There is a wonderful local night market once a week. Near by in Taman Conaught there is Malaysia biggest Night Market well worth a visit for the food and shopping. There will be a list of places left in the information packs which also lets you know about places to visit and explore in Kuala Lumpur. There is a golf course within a short drive and it is very reasonably priced in Malaysia. You can have some great days at Venice Hill while you explore Kuala Lumpur.

This is a fully furnished appartment with all the requirements you would need away from home. We had a wonderful time exploring Kuala Lumpur from here. It was just what we wanted. It was very accessible for all sights and the City. The taxi fare was very reasonable. The best feeling was you came home to an oasis. Very relaxed with lovely views and ir fel tranquil after a hectic day exploring.. It was fantastic for the whole family. When we were fed up with traveling and sight seeing we could have a day at the pool or just lounging around in the apartment watching movies. We loved the area. We could experience local life and we really got a feel of what it was like to live here. We found some fantastic local restaurants and the prices were so reasonable. We were worried as there was no airconditioning but as the owner said it is very cool on the hill, not like staying in Kuala Lumpar which we did one night. Benjamin who met us to give us the keys was the most lovely gentleman who really helped us to enjoy our stay. If you are like us independant travellers looking for the hidden gem we would recommend this. Thank you again for your very kind hospitality

"It's a great view from here"
Thank you for sharing your lovely apartment in Venice Hill. It's light and airiness, along with a fantastic view, are a welcome respite from the heat of KL. My wife and I had a lovely time sitting on the balcony watching the clouds and enjoying the fresh air and slight breeze. The apartment is lovely and the local amenities - swimming pool, shop, restaurant, tennis are all in good shape. Especially the pool which is olympic size - we spent many a happy afternoon poolside. Venice Hill is a great location and within easy reach of everything you could need. Local restaurants were full of great food and an even better price. Local mega malls and markets offer great selection of items without the hassle of Bukit Bintan. It's probably a good idea to rent a car - we did and driving was no problem.
