About the home

The villa is built at a unique location on Bonaire with direct access to the ocean. A beautiful tropical garden, sundeck and porch make this a very nice place to relax and enjoy your holiday. It doesn't matter if you are with a group of divers, as a family or in a wedding group. During the day you can snorkel or dive the famous Bonaire reef right in front of the villa. The sunsets are stunning to see.

Sunset Villa has five bedrooms. Every room has a safe, TV, refrigerator and air-conditioning. It has just recently been redecorated. After a busy day you can relax in the garden or take a nap in your room, read a book, work on your tan or enjoy a lovely barbecue in the garden.

Further details outdoors:
For breakfast, lunch or dinner you can sit under the porch or under the pergola, covered with grapes, at the seaside with its beautiful views on the Caribbean sea and Klein Bonaire. There are several places to sit down and relax, a sunbathing area at the seaside or on the balcony, to wake up with the morning sun. There is lounge corner under the porch and a "hide away"for two.

For the divers we have the outside shower, 2 rinse tanks, lockers and a "dive bench" where you can store your tank or make your self ready for a (night)dive at the dive site Cliff. When you go down the stairs in the back of the garden you have direct access to the dive spot Cliff, about 30/40 meters from the shore. We also have a permanent BBQ provided with charcoal.

There are 2 parking spots on the the private ground of the villa.

The villa is provided with a security system.

Further details

You can use the shared swimming pool of the resort behind the villa. It is only 150 ft from the villa.

Conditions

For the children there are fences at the stair and also in the garden towards the seaside patio/sunbathing area and the beach. Of course you have to take care of your children yourself. For the really little ones there is an inflatable bath with some toys to play.

If there is a person with restricted mobility you need to enquire first. So nobody will be disappointed afterwards.

The Kralendijk Region region

The HATO area, where the villa is located, is in the north of Kralendijk. It is a quiet neighbourhood about 2 miles from the centre and 5 miles from the airport. It is an area where you have family homes and places which are rented to tourist. There is a supermarket on walking distance and several restaurants. The dive shop from Dive Friends is about 50 meters away from the villa.

The Kralendijk / Hato area

There are quite a view local bars called "snackys" where you can drink a very cold (friu, friu) beer or something else. They are open till 12 pm. You also have different kind of places in Kralendijk where you can have a drink, dance or party in an other way. When you want to have a good dinner, there are enough good restaurants on the island. You also can hire a private cook. If you want to do an other sport beside diving or snorkeling you have the possibility to (kite)surf, ride a bike, fish, wake board, you also can rent your "own" boat. There are much more things to do, don't hesitate to ask me.
